Ok, I had that problem a couple days ago when I was trying to k flip higher. All you gotta to is put your back foot less on the board. And kinda stand on your toes. I forgot what I did with my front foot though. Hope it helps. Btw, your kickflips are sooooo much better than they used to be even though you turn a bit.
try putting more of your foot on the board when you kickflip. this way you will have to flick harder. and if you have more of your foot on the board it will be harder to flick down, so you'll be forced to flick out.
you'd be good at kickflips to board slides with the 40 degree thing you have

im doing this now too
i land them like everytime and they do this(it sometimes dosn't do it)
the sad thing is ive been able to kickflip for almost 5 months now

iono bout the turning, but the flicking will just take concentration. just concentrate on flicking out and ull get the hang of it

ur flicking down, try to be parallel with the board and try not to think alot of flicking out,make it natural and u will get better kickflips

I think you turn because your facing too straight forward. I think you should be more parallel to the board
