Jani's solo has zero class. It's just wank and horrible bending. I look at all the shitty noobs in this forum and I see the same retarded logic about string skipped arpeggios and sweeps. Once you master that shit, you don't OVERUSE it to compensate for your lack of improvisational technique. Any true fucking guitarist knows when and where to place things. Syu is amazing. For the record, Jani improvised all his solos when he played live with Sonata Arctica, and it sounded great. So yea..

You do know you aren't talking to a fan right? You are talking to an actual jazz and metal guitarist you fucking little shit. Classically trained as well. He has an amazing lack of vibrato and that is key along with a sense of tonality and progression when you are improvising. He makes the progression cadence so weak with the notes he plays.

if you are referring to that KTS they recently played in Montreal, that's because it wasn't even part of the set list. they did as a favor to the fans. It wasn't properly rehearsed or anything. and considering all this, it was played pretty damn well. if I was at that show, I would have been ecstatic to even have witnessed it.
