oran park is great u get to see most of the track sitting anywhere. to drive one of these 625 at the wheels horsepower monsters at speed with 25 other monsters around u is incredible. great show of skill to master this track

not to bash V8SC, I think it and ALMS GT2 are the best racing in the world right now...but I find that boring, it's exactly why I like (short track) oval racing (not for spectating), you're constantly in battle and side by side with other cars and a mistake means several positions lost...it's pure driver vs. driver battling where this is driver vs track waiting for mistakes. Open wheel is even worse, nowadays 99% of overtakes are outbraking forcing someone to the outside of a turn.

i live just down the road frmo oran park. such a pity theyre taking it down, from a spectators point of view its the best track in the world. because its one of the few tracks in the world where you can see the whole track from one spot without a video screen!
