@SpencerBenedict2nd I see you have seen that ridiculously stupid YouTube video about the chicken or the egg, the answer is the egg. Firstly i'm assuming you mean the domesticated chicken. The egg came first as the bird that laid that egg wasn't a chicken but a very closely related bird the red jungle fowl but it is possible that the grey jungle fowl was involved. This change most definitively wasn't instant but over time. So instead of listening to creationist videos listen to scientist videos.
Nauarattaa SAYS, "This change most definitively wasn't instant but over time."
>The key parameter for every naturalistic explanation is "time":
Time is in fact the hero of the plot … given so much time the “impossible” becomes possible, the possible probable and the probably, virtually certainly certain. One has only to wait: time itself performs miracles.

The Jesuits completely altered the education system to suit their evolution agenda to discredit the Bible. They cant have a Satanic society of 'Do as Thou Wilt' if people still follow the Bible.
Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
@jax252000 Do yourself a huge favour and check out Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens as well. Im pretty sure you find find them to be very interesting too.
A great friend of mine believed as you did, 5 senses and all.
Then her dead son materialized in the front passengers seat whilst she was driving her car. She pulled over and stared at him in 'disbelief' for 5 solid minutes my friends. 5 solid minutes with her jaw dropped to the ground thrying to undrstand how everything she believed to be true was absolutely wrong.
Vedic astrology is accurate. It's an incredible science. My own experience with it, along with many others cannot be disputed, it proved to be self-evident.
"All truth passes through three stages. First it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."
Arthur Schopenhauer, German Philosopher, 1788 - 1860
@SuccubusMagician Dude... Astrology is cool, but probably only because I like my sign (Sagittarius). Whether or not it's a load of crap, has yet to be proven right or wrong though. I certainly don't see much of a point challenging the validity of astrology. People's beliefs in astrology have had no damaging repercussions on society.
@esca8652 Tell that to a man who's wife's horoscope told her to take hold of new opportunities and propositions; and being the irrational believer that she was; she did...which happened to include sleeping with another man.
Irrational people do irrational things for irrational reasons. If you present irrationality, such as Astrology, and allow it to influence people, there is ALWAYS a risk that something negative will come of it. Needlessly, I might add.
@esca8652 Well, in general, so is believing that there's a bearded man watching over you from Heaven.
Even Satanism is harmless if you simply wish to worship some dark lord rather than a God.
But as I said, irrationality carries with it a risk of negative consequences. Children are indoctrinated to believe they'll burn forever in Hell, virgins get sacrificed, or people do stupid things because they believe the stars or their God told them to.
I don't live my life my astrology, I just find the science (yes science) of it. You've only got to read the vedic astrological profiles of famous people and it cannot be denied. It's not just the sun signs, it's so much more complex than that. Moon Sign, Rising Sign and the 27 Nakshatras (sub signs).
@74bluebird74 I don't don't need to study the engineering of clothing, each stitch, each color, each fold, or the history of pantaloons to be able to say, "The Emperor has no clothes."
Richard Dawkins is not terribly bright, which this documentary proves. Putting ‘slaves’ in the title of this video, demonstrates that he was not being impartial to the outcome of the documentary. A good journalist remains impartial.
You know, I was just thinking about something...I'm really glad to documentary part is still there, but don't most people watch this series just to see Richard Dawkins Intellectually rape a lot of very stupid people? Lol!!!
I actually knew a person who wrote the weekly horoscopes -- and that person said if she was pissed off by Sagittarius or Cancers, she would write the horoscope to make them have a shitty week
While I respect and admire Richard Dawkins ability to question so much of the BS coming from religion, I do believe that there is worthy evidence, despite some of the frauds or misguided individuals in spiritualism, to support there being a spirit world, as well as spiritual phenomeon that can not be completely explained by science. In the end, he may want to exude some humility and bring some balance to the fact that he too does not have all the answers nor can science explain everything.
@wowmind2011 I don't yet see any credible evidence to show that there is a spirit world or spiritual phenomenon. All I have ever seen were anecdotal accounts which are totally crappy.

I never would have believed that such nonsense could ever truly threaten science. For me, being an American citizen has steadily become more and more embarrassing. I just can't believe that people are so determined in returning to the dark ages and dragging everyone else down with them.
Horoscopes LMAO give me a break i can't belive anyone actually follows that shit!! at the end i was cracking up at how seriously that guy takes it, and completely avoids any testing. man, people are retarted
Irrationality is an evolutionary advantage. Children make imaginary friends out of rocks for a reason. As long as there are human beings we will be building our own realities devoid of logic and evidence.
Oh dear why are people so stupid? Why do they prefer superstition to truth? Cowards afraid of evidence, idiots who believe in astrology and spirits. Why? Why persist in madness when the real world is far more beautiful and mysterious?
"Israelites: Your nose for deception will serve you well when attempting to control the remote and other media around the house, but don't get too greedy."
Richard Dawkins' irrational skepticism ignores that astrology has irrefutably and predictably identified the metaphorical location of Uranus with outstanding consistency. 8:02 Open your mind Professor!
i love te expression on his face when he is sitting in the room with people going : njammahooo njengehooo....(could be something else, that's what it sounds like to me). "god" bless RD
i would argue that attacking faith is fine. Scientific opinion is open to criticism and change and that is because it is looking for the truth not sticking to dogma. most scientist do not hold dogma, ( though some do that is human nature) . If science hadn't have evolved we would still think the sun revolves round the earth... herein lies the difference, religion cannot evolve because the words in the holy book are sacrasanct and often dictated or written by god. No change + no proof = dogma.
04:52 - "You can rely much better on that, than you can on your......... head!".
For me, her way of saying those words and of course the essence of them, are among the best reasons for NOT getting involved with Religion and other superstitions. You can almost taste and smell the bullshit in the air.
So I've watched about 10 dawkins videos now and I'm disappointed that I have seen no evidence of evolution and only attacks against people of faith... What again is his goal?
To awaken people minds and show them that there is life outside of religion. Thats what I get from him at least. Evolution is proven, theres no 'missing link' or anything like that. Pick up any biology book and you will learn

>I mean any chicken that lays eggs which bear chicks.

>"involved"? Involved in what? Deception? Are you telling us "jungle fowls" are jesuits?
Nauarattaa SAYS, "This change most definitively wasn't instant but over time."
>Well of course! Since your "Time" god always comes through as the Hero of the plot.
"So instead of listening to creationist videos listen to scientist videos."-Nauarattaa

>The key parameter for every naturalistic explanation is "time":
Time is in fact the hero of the plot … given so much time the “impossible” becomes possible, the possible probable and the probably, virtually certainly certain. One has only to wait: time itself performs miracles.

I take it you haven't a clue that the "evolution theory" hoax is a jesuit invention, born of the agenda set forth in Vatican Rome's Council of Trent sessions and being used as a tool in their Counter Reformation.
Get a clue.

1) Lunchtime discussion on Oxford on the 'Oxford Debate'
2) "Is God a Delusion?" lecture with panel response (unless Dawkins shows up to debate!)
Run, Dawkins, run!! Keep running from Dr. Craig, from debate. That's the best thing you can do to keep your followers.
In case you followers don't know, he's been avoiding Dr. Craig, for he... is afraid to death of debating him! LOL... Even an atheist publicly accused him of cowardice!
Evidence: cowardice

@SuccubusMagician Dude... Astrology is cool, but probably only because I like my sign (Sagittarius). Whether or not it's a load of crap, has yet to be proven right or wrong though. I certainly don't see much of a point challenging the validity of astrology. People's beliefs in astrology have had no damaging repercussions on society.
esca8652 5 months ago
@esca8652 Tell that to a man who's wife's horoscope told her to take hold of new opportunities and propositions; and being the irrational believer that she was; she did...which happened to include sleeping with another man.
Irrational people do irrational things for irrational reasons. If you present irrationality, such as Astrology, and allow it to influence people, there is ALWAYS a risk that something negative will come of it. Needlessly, I might add.
SeedsOfHatred 5 months ago
@SeedsOfHatred Well, in general, it's a harmless belief system.
esca8652 5 months ago
@esca8652 Well, in general, so is believing that there's a bearded man watching over you from Heaven.
Even Satanism is harmless if you simply wish to worship some dark lord rather than a God.
But as I said, irrationality carries with it a risk of negative consequences. Children are indoctrinated to believe they'll burn forever in Hell, virgins get sacrificed, or people do stupid things because they believe the stars or their God told them to.
Irrationality is never entirely harmless.

In the end, he may want to exude some humility and bring some balance to the fact that he too does not have all the answers nor can science explain everything.
wowmind2011 6 months ago
@wowmind2011 science can't explain everything YET. Can you give me some examples of the evidence, out of personal interest.

i would argue that attacking faith is fine.
