  • we irish are grateful for the BBC and the programming nowadays but in those years we had to listen to that anthem which was nasty in those days.

  • @AyeOkNowFuckOff Did you receive BBC tv in Ireland in those days? How did you receive it? There were no satellite dishes in those days. Just curious that's all.

  • @Feisty1967 As far as i can remember we always had british terrestrial tv since the mainland had.... we all had the same ever since. I rem the channel close downs and qstq anthem every dam night lol.

  • Scotland lost 3-2 to Belgium in a European Championship Qualifier on this evening. It was shown live on STV (ITV Scottish). I think England beat Luxembourg 9-0 the same night.
