Wow... Talk about a flashback :) It's a real shame I never took a video of the fourth run. That was the one where I went full tilt and the droid slowly started to veer to the right. Since these were scooter motors they didn't have any braking system. Sure enough R2 ended up right smack in the gutter, bent the center foot all to heck and cracked the inner frame. It all fixed up just fine, but that was the end of my R2 racing days :) At least on city streets.
