One thing on the begging of this level (on Elite) I was able to do after dropping from the road is grenade my way up to the platform entrance on the left hand side. Then using the same gun as in this clip take cover and clear out any remaining Higs on the platform. It's risky but a quick in.

Best walkthroughs I've seen for the game yet. Great implementation with the tip bubbles too; far better than hearing someone talk (unprofessionally no less) while you're trying to watch/listen to the gameplay. HD footage always a plus too.

This level is by far the hardest level in the game, especially when you go up against the waves of enemies before Radec. Killzone 2 has an awesome atmosphere.

I have found out that if you get really stuck in a level, you can instead chance it and run past everything untill it gets you to another checkpoint.

I did this for a couple of levels that i was stuck on.

True. But in MP on COD4 I find it very annoying. Multiple times I have wanted to pitch a grenade at an enemy, but one lands next to me, and I end up throwing that one instead... which has been cooked, so it explodes in my hand, lol.

helghast lmg is damned near useless on both campaign and on multiplayer. m82's where its at

not really...I agree in mp its useless, as you have to be a pointless riflemen just to use it (why assaults have RL's instead of LMG's is still beyond me)...but if you use it like this video shows, its one of the better weapons in the campaign...as it has a huge clip, and just 2 or 3 bullets from it will put an enemy down...plus its very accurate when you fire in bursts...I found using the STA 3 on this last level MUCH easier than going at it with either AR, as ammo will usually become a problem

yeah the tedious amount of enemy taking cover and painful overflooding of enemies is kind of similar. but weapons are definiteily better, and not all them just do the image zoom, instead of aiming down the sight

How is it not? When he uses the LMG it has no crosshairs, however when you zoom in there are crosshairs. This is how it is in Elite. Also at the beginning of the video notice how that turret rips you to shreds so easily. Veteran it's not quite as bad.

The moment I read this one comment that there are no crosshairs on Elite... was just the moment he zoomed in to aim -> Able to see the crosshairs.

Not that anyone cares or is interested but I finally completed this game. My first FPS.

But do I feel ready to show off online???

The answer to that is no. Not untill I've completed the game on veteran and elite along with getting the 'untouchable' trophy on trooper level at the very least. Only then will I feel ready to go online. Of course by the time I've achieved all that, people would have forgotten about killzone and gone on to the next big budget FPS.

Alright buddy. I give you props for being a trooper but go online, its totally different from the actual campaign. Its a rude awakening more like it, the campaign actually makes you worse for online. Even if you get the untouchable trophy what will that prove?

I beat the game on normal... Then played online and got kills easy peasy. JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME WHILE ITS FUN. I pray you arent a troll.

Getting the untouchable trophy on, lets say veteran, is not exactly nothing.

As for the troll part... I don't plan on being a troll but getting the online rank of GENERAL instead.

this level is soo frustrating, i cant move anywhere and i cant find a good cover with out getting shot in the ass..... for some reason when i use the LMG, is not very good for me, everytime i use it i die because its not that accurate while moving.... right now im stuck in the courtyard, where the whole helghast army is just concetrating on shooting you, which makes moving a pain in the ass

past the evil army and got to the maze I could just run through. Yes it took a few tries but it beats trying to shoot out the turret guys.
