LOL this is so tacky... kinda liked the "evolution" start of the video, but when he crossed out google and cisco I laughed out loud as the video just took a turn for the laughable
@oprust There is a simple reason why he crossed over Google and Cisco as candidates. It is clearly laid out in the white board and the products are highlighted after he does that. Lync is the product being chosen over Cisco and Office365 is what is being chosen over Google. It may be a promo, But it very well fleshed out.
@avatarxone Im not really questioning the soundness of his decisions, as he is a fictional character, made up by Micosoft marketing. I just find it too direct and tacky. As most people who are in the target group know that Google and Cisco are the main competetors, he could just have crossed out "competetors" or "other services"
@oprust Actually, right before crossing out Google and Cisco, the CIO is evaluating an On-Premise + Cloud strategy. In this hybrid situation, neither Google nor Cisco could help much. Google is mainly focused on Cloud solutions and Cisco is not offering much cloud nowadays. I'm not saying Microsoft would be the best on all possible strategies, but on that specific one, Micorosft has a total advantage. After that, the technology that they show on the video already exists.
Very interesting area and great potential, need a bit of work to get going.

You may not like them, but you can't deny Microsoft is aiming for the sky - and they just might make it.
