i beg to differ with the case of being less accurate and more cheaply made. i have watched clips of optimus transforming and seen pictures of both of his modes so many times, and this figure is near perfection. for some odd reason, the 2007 version's arms form the back of the cab instead of the hood. that's probably my main pet peeve about it.

I hated movie 1 optimus, his legs were too fat, his whole body was out o proportion, this one is so much better, Optimus should be slim and tall, along with ratchet, but ratchet should be a little smaller than ironhide (if you dont believe me, then watch the second movie, play the games, and see the pics on google.)

i dont know what toy you have but prime can turn his head 360, plus up and down, and still keep the wires going through his neck intact. Not to mention the fact he has less kibble and is more movie accurate. I do miss rubber tires though.
