Well, I think I have to disagree you, in Hk, you don't have photoreading, you only have speed reading in hongkong, I am not sure are you from HK, but as far as I know, this video is made by a speed reading course and they also said it is speed reading, they claim you PR in the website, but you don't, the word photoread in the website is only to attract you, unlike the real photoreading create by Paul.S

But with PHOTOREADING, all the information I stated was true. With whatever these kids are doing, I can't tell you for sure, now.
In the case of Photoreading, it will be true, but for this speed reading course, probably not, some of the video made by the company did said the word speed reading in it, they also said you read 2000 word/min....... I guess you are a photoreader, if so, me too

Actually, that's not exactly true. The book should be at a 45 degree angle, with their head tilted at a 45 degree angle, thus making the book 90 degrees with their eyes. But, this doesn't have to be done. This is just the way that has worked for many people.
Dude, it's called scanning - all they're really doing, whatever they're being convinced they're doing, is picking out key words from the text and reading them, as well as the words around them (to get context). This is done very quickly.
they just get an overview. how could they read the text under there fingers?

The website did said the course was "base" on Paul.S 's photoreading, but sadly, the resulting course they create is different.

A little confused, but that's not bad. Tells you learning is occurring. I also quit it for a month or two, because i felt I was getting nothing.
I look at photoreading in a totally different way than I did back then, which was about a year and a half ago, or so.
Much better at it now, too.

you don't have to read EVERY SINGLE WORD. (that's also one of the great things of photoreading)
You can miss a page or two, and not have to worry about it. And probably what was covering his hand wasn't even that important.
