i have a green connection almost ever match and have never gotten host.

I don't really get it. I'm host almost all of the time, and I do worse as host. What exactly do you get to do that's different than just joining in? I know you can lag the game, but anything else? And nice match by the way :D

You can shoot someone where they are and you'll actually hit them.

Also it seems to me that shotguns have better range when you're host.

i know how to become host and ive been doing it since last week but for some reason it stopped working on sunday so now i cant be host =( too many people play this game i guess,..

I thought becoming host was random. Ironically, having too many people play online sounds like an easy way to get host. Having no random public games to join in increases your chances of being host.

Grip (atttachment), Sleight of Hand, Extreme Conditioning are very good for shotguns.

I tend to have a problem w/ Grip mostly because I lose Bandolier, Bouncing Betties or Satchel Charges. However I kind of learned not to rely on Bandolier, and I use Bouncing Betties very little.

Sleight of Hand to me, is only useful on DBS. For Trench, each shell is reloaded individually, so you can reload cancel via switching to pistol and back to Trench. Reloading shells takes shorter than reloading one or two shells in the DBS.

Sometimes I miss Bandolier too. I just don't understand why the first perk is cancelled if you use Grip. I think the shotguns are one of the underpowered guns in this game. Don't see many players using them.

Yeah. Riflenades are understandable because they were a special weapon. But Grip just makes Shotguns more accurate. Is that really game breaking? I wouldn't think so.

I hate Riflenaders. If I see someone riflenading, I will use my flack jacket and a Thompson to counter attack him. I'm sort of 'forced' to use a different weapon. Sniping and shotgunning will almost be impossible.

Yeah, I always run out of ammo when I'm using a shotgun. Can't Treyarch fix the Grip and perk 1 combination?

Anti-Riflenade Class:

Gewehr 43 w/ Riflenade and Flak jacket. I survived a pointblank riflenade while the riflenader himself died :P

Grip took away Perk 1 in COD4, and they followed that idea here. But in both games it doesn't really make sense to lose Perk 1 over something that gives a normally inaccurate weapon some accuracy.

Yeah, I encountered some RN in a few matches. I knew he was gonna nade me twice, but missed both times. So, I knew he was out. Then I just shoot him with my sniper rifle and he died. The funny part is, his K/D was below 1 :-)

Maybe they thought Grip was a powerful attachment?! I hope they can fix it in their next COD.

More DBS than Trench IMO.

Trench's shells reload individually, so you can reload cancel via switching to pistol and switching back to Trench.

Being host makes you almost unbeatable. If I get 2 bars the game is not playable for me with a sniper rifle or shotgun. My best kill streak is 31 with the Double Barreled Shotgun. My K/D is now 1.31.

K/D of 1.19 still, and it's going to be hard to improve after all those losses and deaths I've been having in the day I recorded most of my matches.

I encounter newbies sometimes when I was host. They were using MP40s but still no match for me. I was using the Double Barelled Shotgun and even ran out of bullets X-D I pity the enemy team so eventually I was using just my pistol.

I actually separate newbs and noobs.

Newbs = players new to the game.

Noobs = players using overpowered stuff without any intent of getting better with more balanced, decent or slightly underpowered weapons.

In the hands of a skilled user, DBS >>>>>>>>>> Trench on a Juggernut40 user. Getting two shots to kill a Juggernut40 user makes killing w/ DBS better than Trench. Otherwise, Trench is more versatile IMO.

Yeah. Killing noobs with a shotgun really makes me happy :-) Especially Jug40s.

I just prestiged again. Now I'm at 8th prestige, level 27 or something. I still need to unlock the DBS and Sleight of Hand. I unlocked the scope for the Arisaka with a scoped Arisaka I picked up from the enemy, so it made the challenge much easier :-D

By the way, you can get more bullets by walking over the same gun you're using. At first I thought out of no where my bullets just increase over time X-D

It's fun stacking up ammo running over your dead corpse. I got a Thompson with a reserve size as high as 384 bullets just by running over my corpse when I got killed.

That's alot of bullets. I think the Arisaka is maxed out at 40 bullets or something.

Gotta hope that you never join a random public game I guess...

Also that day it was terrible. The unintentional lag made things worse for me in the non-host matches. Kept getting knifed, kept getting sprayed, and it all made using shotguns and bolt-actions all the more degrading. I could not land a single, consistent blast with the Trench/Double Barreled Shotgun even when I led my blasts.
