  • i find htis very hepful, im goign to get a ratign done in March on the 737-800, so this video is actually somewhat helping to get a tiny bit familiar with the startup and other things

  • stupid instructor, forget flaps :D

  • Well done, keep up the good work, EXELENT.

  • beautiful

  • talk about hard landings

  • Fantastic

  • Thanks

  • MmK

  • I'm not surprised they are using PMDG 737 NG either

  • shitty crap of amateurs

  • Nice video : )

    Watch my videos

  • Cheers.

  • very nice! very nice! very nice! did the pilot say

  • Yeh it was very nice of him.

  • you did a good job, well done ;)

  • Thanks

  • i went for the experience, and it was AWESOME. although i went there for only about 10 mins or so, it felt so good and realistic. it feels like you are really flying!

  • It's great I must say, I wish they had offices in the UK too.

  • Nice landing! hope you enjoy the flytampa scenery i told you about! :]

  • Thanks. The landng wasn't too great, I flared too late but hey it was my first go haha. Yeh the flytampa scenery looks great, I'm not sure my PC would have the spec to run it though, it dislikes high scenery settings :D

  • @theendcredits They use Microsoft Flight Simulator too ?

  • I believe the fixed base simulators do yes, FS2004.

  • How did you get to do this? Did you pay?

  • The company is called Flight Experience. This was at their Singapore Office but they have many locations where you can experience a fixed-base B737 NG simulator. They offer a variety of time packages depending on your budget & the quality of the tuition is fantastic. I couldn't recommend them enough.

  • Even though this was a fixed-base simulator, yes you do, they're excellent. I'm lucky enough to have had a quick 5 minute go in a full motion simulator too and that was out of this world! :)

  • Does a fixed base simulator actually move up, down, left or right to make you feel like you are actually flying and airplane???

  • No its fixed but is still very realistic. The simulators which move are full motion simulators. Fixed-base are significantly cheaper ie £1m : £10m.

  • Hey I'm going there too! PM me for more info can? I'm really excited!

  • Hey I'd gladly give you any info you need, what would you like to know?

  • so you don't feel anything when you are flying?? like bumpy or something??

    nice video!!

  • He is Desmond right?

  • He is indeed, excellent tutor!

  • Very Nice! ;P

  • do you know that SIA captain?

  • Hahaha, Yeh Very Nice.. Very Nice :) Thanks Capt.

Flightlevel000, no I did not, I only met him on the day but he was a top guy. His tuition was fantastic & he gave me lots of tips for the airline interviews.

  • Well done man!

You have done this before! Thats for sure ;-)

  • Thanks, this was actually my first time! I had 15 mins in the right seat of an Airbus A320 full-motion simulator at an open day a few months ago but this was my first time on a Boeing and on a fixed-base simulator. Thousands of hours on Microsoft Flight Simulator over the years certainly helped :D

  • Oh yes off course it helps!

who ever says that PC simulators don't help and that they are just a game are totally wrong!

You prove it here as well!

  • Yes! especially if you have PMDG addons you are certainly closer to real life than anything else on earth!

Looks fun for you and i'm VERY tempted to try!

  • Yeh too right, the PMDG 747 is awesome, my favourite add-on of all time by far.

As for the fixed- base sim, I couldn't recommend it enough!

  • Very Nice !! :)
