I was bursting at pc yesterday to get void, it's okay magic xp I guess but it costs quite a lot. Also it's annoying how the monsters teleport to you when your attacking them, so the ice affect doesn't work some of the time.

I don't see the point in this. It only takes about a day to get full Void, I'm pretty sure you'll live without a day of efficient experience. Maybe if you really don't care about spending money, but the average player probably wouldn't bother.

If a couple extra easy wins in Pest Control is valuable to you, if you like getting some extra mage xp while in PC, or just having fun barraging...w/e. All of those give the highest mage bonuses possible for that armor slot.

The master wand also gives +10% bonus to damage.

This is maxed mage attack bonus.

Close...It's actually the max "reasonable" mage bonus. Zuriels is better, but it degrades, so it's really not reasonable to use. Non-degradable max bonus switches out ahrim hood and fury for Third Age Mage hat and Third Age amulet...but those are hard to acquire.

It's more efficient to pay the little extra for ice barrage and do more damage, in my opinion.

I don't bother with blood barrage, it's another stack of runes and I'm ok with just dying and coming back in. I did say in the guide people could do it if they wanted, so it's not like it's not in there. I thought all the prayers including mystic might couldn't really be counted as something "specific" to barraging, because of course if you had them you'd know to use them.

this method is highly unnecessary as you can easily do enough damage to get points without spending hundreds of thousands of GP doing this and getting half xp as you normallly would. nice showing off all your capes though, some people forget its a game.

Yorkpig612 it is called being efficient. You get mage xp, hp xp, and you get points faster. This saves time. Many people can make all the money back in the time they saved from winning every game.

As a mager in there u would like to pray the 15%+ mage prayer, as you take more dammage eatch cast and that way get more xp for a lower price =)

I've never actually calculated it myself, but I've heard full void usually takes around 13 hours of continuous play and each cast of Ice barrage costs about 2.5k.

I'd advise setting up some quick prayers, such as redemption and the magic one(level 45), helps with the exp rate and the waste of runes actually hitting something ^_^
