Great review. Probably my favorite film of the last 10 years. That or No Country for Old Men. Its one of the few films I can think of where all the other aspects of it are working on the same level as Day-Lewis who gives one of the best performances ever. Its always a treat to see him act....usually.

good review! i liked how you touched upon themes that I didn't quite catch during the other times i viewed the film, and i do see now how much of it is left up to audience interpretation as you mentioned. and by the way, i dunno if i said this already but you seriously have the greatest voice for this kind of stuff!

I agree that "There Will be Blood" is great, and I quite liked your review, but I'm a bit anxious about your review on Gangs of New York. 'Cause I really like that film and I have a feeling we'll disagree considerably on that movie.

@JimmySteller - haha - dont get too anxious - i enjoyed the film, theres just some effects that seem too modern and out of line in it - similar to effects that Ridley Scott uses in his historic movies that i feel may date quickly. At least with there will be blood its told in such a realistic story that will help the movie hold its age. That is all
