He sounded like a completely different MC. Doodle's verse was better but didn't really sound great either. The beat, even though dope, didn't match both of their verses and flows. Also, to top it off, Ladybug looks completely different. They all changed on this album lyrically, stye-wise, and physically.

Even though gagnsta rap got all the media attemtion, this was the best decade for hip hop hands down East to West. Heiroglypihics, The Nonce, Pharcyde, De La Soul, DP, and Tribe Called Quest to name a few. I think the creative leap from their first to second albums is on par with A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul and Gang Starr. They all could've fallen off after their first record, but they re-upped and released masterpieces.
