@zenangel924 : Those are the viewers AMC actually wants. You think they'll be able to sell a show based on how slow moving in narrative it is? No. That's not what the majority of America wants. They want an action packed, revenge, and plot twist filled soap opera much in the same vein as Dallas years ago. This promo makes Mad Men look almost exactly like that show. If Mad Men ever taught you anything about advertising, you'd know that this is the best type of ad they could give for this show.

Oh is it August 16th yet?! LOVE the show. Just such an original concept. Sharp, witty, .. fresh.
I can't wait to see what happens with Pete/Peggy. How do you go on interacting after something like that? LOL

Yeah, I agree. Still, I love the series. I tend to be attracted to the more violent and gratuitous type of series, though I find "Mad Men" to be very well done and one of the best on the air right now. Extremely well thought-out for a period production.

What? He punched Jimmy B because he knew it was Jimmy that told his wife about the affair he was having with Jimmy's wife.
It happened in season 2.

Yeah you're right Mad Men isn't violent at all, its not a soap opera either, its a steady flow of minor twists and turns that create a good drama, not boring cliched melodramatic soap opera crap.
