The worst airline ever...Bad service,rude flight attendants, entertainment systems dont work, they don't deliver what they promise and when you complain you get brushed off.
I agree the service is appalling and they are much more expensive then all the other quality airlines. They also dont know how to test there own jets. Watch out for safety on this airline dont believe all the censored hype.

EVERY AIRLINE has many complaints... google 'skytrax' and go look at all of the 4 star airlines... no airline is perfect. I have flown with them and they were great...

hi guys, flew with Etihad yesterday from brisbane to singapore, a total flight duration of 7 hrs and 50 mins....and all i have to say is excellent...the aircraft was great...cabin clean, crisp and nice and very cooling, and the cabin ambience was very good...crew were extremely friendly and very professional from the time of boarding to the point of disembarkation in Singapore. Im Singaporean, but I personally rank Etihad Airways high above Singapore Airlines. Will continue to fly Etihad Airways
True that Emirates have better Network but it took them 30 years to reach what they are now, I am having a Huge hope that Etihad Airways will reach that point and might pass emirates or reach them.
I loved Etihad at my 1st flight to Geneva from Abu Dhabi. Economy was a Bit tight for my legs but when coming back i upgraded to Business and here is when i loved them

At last May-Aug 2008 when the Fuel price was going crazily high, Etihad Airways Didn't Raise a Single pence So far from what i know because their prices didn't change much like many other Airlines who were facing problem on fuel prices like Emirates, But Etihad sticked with their prices, and if u compare with Emirates, Etihad Better and Prices are acceptable unlike some destination of Emirates. anyway I dont hate emirates but lovedEtihad

last month at the singapore airshow, etihad had a stand and i asked one of the crews who told me that for females, minimum 1.6m, speak fluent english and completed school so based on ur given details, u passed.
i suggest that u be persistent in applying cos a local actress applied for 10 times in a row before she got accepted by singapore airlines. also, 1st impression DO count. how u walk & talk, they really look into it. i wish u all the best =)

i highly believe that it took her 10 times before she got accepted into SIA. SIA is known for thier strict and very competitive selections for girls who dream of becoming a SQ girl. My friend who just got into SIA said out of the 974 people only 25 were accepted into the program.
At this kind of interviews for flight attendants are so many girls..and they need just a few..and also the recruitment process is superficial..ofcourse it's not perfect..r humans ..it's normaly not to see you exactly how u are in just a few minutes..to know u ..it's just hazard..luck..what a pity anyway!

I went till now at 4 interviews in my life for companies like Qatar airways , Etihad Airways ,Fly Emirates , Gulf Air.I live in Romania in a city port Constanta... so I went in the capital Bucharest for interviews at aprox 300km.

New F Class suites, Imporved Biz Class seats & New Economy Class cabins/service all to be rolled out from end of 2009. So look out......

dont give up. keep on applying. if u have a dream never give up on it. i believe that dreams do come true. dreams which lead to endless heights of joy. dedicate all ua life to becoming a flight attendant and i guarantee u u will become one. Most importantly trust in God. Me too all i have dreamt of is to fly. am currently in flight school.

last month at the singapore airshow, etihad had a stand and i asked one of the crews who told me that for females, minimum 1.6m, speak fluent english and completed school so based on ur given details, u passed.
i suggest that u be persistent in applying cos a local actress applied for 10 times in a row before she got accepted by singapore airlines. also, 1st impression DO count. how u walk & talk, they really look into it. i wish u all the best =)

i highly believe that it took her 10 times before she got accepted into SIA. SIA is known for thier strict and very competitive selections for girls who dream of becoming a SQ girl. My friend who just got into SIA said out of the 974 people only 25 were accepted into the program.

At this kind of interviews for flight attendants are so many girls..and they need just a few..and also the recruitment process is superficial..ofcourse it's not perfect..r humans ..it's normaly not to see you exactly how u are in just a few minutes..to know u ..it's just hazard..luck..what a pity anyway!

I mean I'm not idiot..it's what I'm tryn to say...and why they don't want me?It's my dream to be flight attendant. And I'm not just a girl that learned theoretical..I have experience in costumer service .. I had many different jobs in my life....well what can I say in the end is that I think its not just about being at their standards! I think it's about LUCK! U HAVE IT OR U DONT!

I took the english test and the rest.I am tall enough ..1.70m ,I have the age I'm 25 , I am healthy ,I look nice ,I finished 1 university of journalism , I have also other certificates in public relations and psichology obtained outside the coutry ...I speak fluently english and italian (and ofcourse my language that doesnt matter)

I went till now at 4 interviews in my life for companies like Qatar airways , Etihad Airways ,Fly Emirates , Gulf Air.I live in Romania in a city port Constanta... so I went in the capital Bucharest for interviews at aprox 300km.

Etihad's service is very good but theres one problem with this airline...and tht is, it makes u stay for a hell of time on Abu Dhabi airport where smoking is allowed n entertainment is very limited. The whole journey is ruined by this stay at Abu Dhabi, otherwise planes r good

This commercial sounds more like a credo to me - "Born from Abu Dhabi, a city built on the spirit of change [...]", "we believe that nothing is impossible and continually strive to drive the bar higher", etc.
After all, I love the lyrics. Provided they will make their credo come true, Etihad will become the next 5-star-airline.

Yes, they are the best indeed. i have flown on so many carriers, but Etihad was by far the best. which other airline serve you fresh fruits on board? the crew was superb. I can really say they
are far better than KLM, Air france, Luftansa and wayyyyyyy much better than lousy air canada.

love them.. They are honestly a true and remarkable carrier. Rather than spoiling you with lots and lots of food to compensate for their bad interior on certain other airlines,Etihad offers you luxury that you will remmember.
