I like the fact that Shaheen isn't super-super young, so he is aware of what he is doing! He sings with soul and maturity. Beautiful.

I do agree, though, that once the initial shock about Susan's looks compared to her formidable talent has worn off, everyone will be judged based on their performance.

My point is, she is famous because of her initial look and her voice.

Did Simon see him in the Thriller Live show? Simon's amazing, but he must have known from some other experience he had with Shaheen that the kid had something more than what he was doing in the AW song. Really, it created a great bit of television, didn't it??? Lots of drama....it's gonna be a showdown between Susan Boyle and this little dude...really great stuff!
