this is true in egypt u have to be rich to go to school my mom and my dad had to buy more then 1000 or 2000 every year so thats why i moved to america but i still love egypt...ITS MY HOME....
but i would be a liar if i was to say that there wasn't some form of bribery going on in (some places) but you cannot say this of everyone ,as so many good and to be honest i know many teachers and i have never heard of any beatings, also don't be fooled by those (old and young )that pretend to be poor and homeless,if you were egyptian you would spot the real from the fake just like you would in your own countries right? lol when i was a kid i used to love running free with no shoes on lol :D
you know i am in two minds with the comments and the video
1: it is so nice to see that some people genuinaly care about childrens welfare etc but egypt has many welfare homes for the homless and orphaned
2: these children looked happy and in good health and well fed for so called street children. of course you will see lots of children playing on the streets, considering there is well over 17 million in cairo alone and all children get dirty playing outside right?

So true...
Some children start going to school, but in Egypt everything works on bribes, and when the teachers ask parents for bribes that they cannot afford, the children get beaten and kicked out of school...
They run around the streets barefoot, collecting garbage and hoping that by separating it into plastics and papers etc they'll sell it to recycling plants later on in the day...
egypt is very poor country
