GHD vs Sedu!!! Which one to choose?!?

The sedus are good in the beginning but after a couples months they lose heat. I bought 3 these last 2 years and they all just suddenly stoped working. Moving on to another straightner, maybe a chi or something :)

I have a 1 1/2" Sedu and a Purple ghd mk4 set, and ghd wins, hands down. They're both pretty similar, they both make my hair look amazing, but what got me was what they did to the ends of my hair. The Sedu would make them look noticeable (like it spiked out a little more than it blended) whereas with the ghd, my ends blended. Also when I use the ghd, my hair stays straighter longer than when I use the Sedu.

Make sure that you section off your hair first before straigening your hair. That way you will get the proper poker stright looks.

Thairs no point using the ghd or sedu if you are not going to seection the hair first that way you will get the best results. Dont take big chunks of hair cuz thats totaly WRONG!!

i used to have the sedu, i had it for like just over a year and then it randomly stopped working which i guess is normal since i had it for quite awhile. anyways, i loved it! your hair will never get stuck and like rip out, it's so smooth... and a really great straightener. i got it for like $90 too, lol. i have a chi now... and i'd say the sedu and chi are about equal... i like both though the chi sometimes will pull your hair out (it isn't as smooth the plates)

I own a chi and I prefer my ghd 100x over it, its important to note that the difference between these pricey flat irons and the cheap ones are not only the fact that GHD and CHI have ceramic plates but they also have ceramic heaters which is why they straighten so much better. The ceramic heaters create a constant flow of heat so there arent hot spots on certain parts of the hair and not on others. GHD is by far the most superior on the market!

I have the Jibere Nano Silver and i like it a lot and i think it was like 40 bucks at sallys. I loved it but i just got a chi and it works good but Jibere straighteners are amazing for the price straighten great.

i have a solia, and it is amazing, but in the summer of 2009, i went to camp and my counseler (...sry im not good at spelling lol) and it was AMAZING!! but my parents dont pay for my straighteners and curlers...basically anything hair related besides shampoo and conditioner. so i had to pay for my solia. and for me, its hard for me to make money because i end up spending it really fast ( i know its not good lol ) so i wanted to get a ghd, but i only had $100 so i got the solia which i love :D

sedu i amazing for thick hair. ghd is great for mixed like latino and frican american. frizzy but straight.. also the chi works for everyone. but its really hot... it works on fine hair but it may burn it a little. a heat protecter would be great to use with chi. silk infusion or something :D
