Very nice, but it would be helpful to know the dimensions of your paper used. I went to you website but would like to know what you did specifically for the tulips and stems, thank you. Very lovely.
Only one single fold for the flower and the stem is glued so, NOT ORIGAMI (The art of folding a symetrical piece of paper into something new without the use of scissors or any type of glue)
Its because some people consider making origami through using scissors and glue, not origami. Origami should involve simply using your hands and a piece of paper :)
I keep holding the model with my left-hand between my thumb and another finger so it can't open by itself. At about 0:40 I have folded enough on the bottom of the flower, so it can't open by itself anymore after 0:40
I am going to look at hoby loby for some i'm sure they will have some. I think for the stems thow they used a thicker printer paper but i am going to use a constuction paper.
You can use any type of metal stave/wire for it, as long as it's bendable. I buy them at a flower-shop, they are used to keep stems of real flowers together. You could also look at a shop where they sell building-materials (I don't know the english word for that) and search for metal wire/staves which you can bend.
Yes, most (read 'most') times I'm quite relaxed. That's a picture of a passport you've seen. Here in my country, we may not smile anymore on that kind of photos :(
I designed a daffodill last week. The last time I try to design existing flowers. I also made a Lilly a few weeks ago. On the 3th page of the galery on my website you can see a picture of the lilly.
I come to rest after a day of work when I fold a while.
Very nice

But as I said: Cool so don't hate me XD
paddyrapp 2 years ago
oh i'm not lol i was honestly asking cuz i thought so long as you didn't make majority of it with glue and cutting/tearing it's still origami

Can regular pipecleaners work for the stems instead?
LUVreita 3 years ago
I think you can use everything that is strong and bendable for the stems.
