Surfers Paradise was always my favorite Champ Car round. A truly great, challenging street circuit in a great location, with some of the most gorgeous women on the planet on the beach.

Well the first crash was 50-50 Montoya wanted to hold onto the lead and De Ferran was just as stubborn. On the Tracy-Servia crash Tracy did make a mistake on the previous corner

Well Montoya acted like a true dumbass at the start, De Ferran was the driver who was fighting for the Champion Title and Juan just took him out kinda, well Gil De Ferran has still won the title that year and next year as much as I remember but Juan was such a hothead even thought Montoya was one of the best drivers in the field I guess.

Well, Montoya always acts like a dumbass, because he is one. He did not learn all his life long, that sometimes it´s better to let somebody pass... He often crashed, in CART series and in Formula 1, too. The really stupid thing is his behaviour: He doesn´t want toor isn´t able to understand that he often does mistakes and is crying like a baby if he´s penalized for that... Hit the wall, stupid bastard JPM!

Juan was still mathematically in with a chance for the title, he had every right to fight for his position.

I don't often defend Paul Tracy but Servia had a complete brain fade. You can't take chances with that chicane on the back stretch.

Shame Surfers is no more.

A big shame that IndyCar series won't have an event there this year but the BIGGEST shame is that IndyCar Series were the series to survive the split and not the good old CART.... :(
