  • And where's a soul?

  • Wow sir, you play really well, it seemed you played at real ease, no hesitation or whatsoever, I could see the talent! very relaxing!. Thanks for this :)

  • You're awesome. I can't even play the main part. Anyways. You look like you're about to fall asleep of how easy it is for you! Haha! Long nails...

  • ur dam good

  • Oldwht, do you use high-tension nylon? or do you just stick with regular tension, sometimes nylon shakes too much for me on lower note cords, and being users of steel sting like my teacher usually stick to high-tension if using nylon at all.

  • @Mytholgylove I switched to high tension a long time ago . . . back when I also played with steel string guitars. I decided to abandon the steel string in order to focus on fingerstyle guitar. But I don't have powerful hands, so I keep the action a little lower than a real classical guitarist would have it I think. Vibrato is harder to accomplish with high tension, but like you said they're not as floppy as regular tension.

  • can you tell me which type of guitar should I learn to play like you?Classic OR Folk???thanks!

  • @lfcivan1994 I prefer nylon string guitars. But it seems like most fingerstyle guitarists these days prefer steel string instruments. Since I like to play classical as well as popular music, the classical guitar suits me better. You should get the type of guitar that sounds best to you.

  • @oldwhtman

thanks for your reply! I am learning Classical guitar and using nylon string guitar,so can I play like you in the future?

  • @lfcivan1994 You can if you want to, but I recommend picking a better guitarist as a role model. Listen to 'andantelargo' , 'cyroud' or 'guitarromancer'. They're my role models

  • thanks, i found the scores n your site and soooo much other music ^^

or i should be thanking my guitar teacher for showing me ^-^ beautiful song btw~

  • Thank you so much for posting this video and the music to it.

it's not a terribly complicated piece, but it can be a challenge to play,

Thank you for creating a video which is easy to play along to, and makes the picking pattens easy to see.

  • @mangamaniac2000 You are welcome. There's lot's of good stuff 'downunder'.

  • amazing!

    so beautifull.

  • hmm i cant find the tab with the link u provided :(

  • You're right. This tune doesn't come in tab. He wrote this one in standard notation only. I guess it's time to learn to read music. If you go to 'guitardownunder' and select "Fingerstyle Music" at the top of the page you should be able to find it.

  • Hi, very nice, do you have the tabs for this song, i cant read music notations, most of the songs in your page have tabs but not this one

  • it seems like you can play any song no matter how hard it is:)

  • Interesting comment for this video ... considering this is one of the easiest tunes to play. But your statement is not true, unfortunately. But I like trying to play the hard stuff. It keeps me humble knowing how low my limitations are.

  • Very nice, well played!

  • Good job Mike. I have an arrangement by Chet lurking in the archives somewhere. It is not as nice as this though.

    Paul

  • Your self-denigration tendencies are hilarious. The "or not, as I hereby demonstrate" got me chuckling. At any rate... nice job on the video, as usual. This might be something that even I can play (with enough practice).

  • So beautiful! Thank you for sharing,5*******

  • Sounds great Mike, I'll be learning this one in the future!

  • sounds good, I might even be able to play this one.

  • I know this tune quite well as Aura Lee, Thank you for playing it. It sounds nice. It is a pity, I do not play at all.

  • Wow thanks for uploading stuff for the challenged guitar wannabee players like myself....I think I might even be able to play this one.

    Cinco estrellas *****

  • i used to play this in guitar class all the time! :D

u make it sound really nice!

    good job!

(cant stop laughing at the hat) lol
