Can anyone find a tutorial on where I can find and delete windows logfiles? I think I know where some of them are in XP, but I would appreciate a more complete list.
LOL.. Why would you bother making a meterpreter reverse executable if you already have a connection with netcat on the target machine??? Not to mention it's not netcat's fault you have to type it twice, its windows. Open up wireshark on your windows machine when you start the exe with netcat, you'll see what I mean.
@pentester445 I was thinking the same thing. I just assumed he wrote a custom executable to setup the netcat session using an exploit he found on offensive security or something.
This definately isn't a backdoor, though. A backdoor would be if you configured it so that there was always a meterpreter session you could connect to on the target machine. Which is what I came here looking for in the first place.
At 2:10 in the video, or when you're using the multi handler, the LHOST actually doesn't matter, you could set it to 0.0.0.0. All what it does is listen on that IP for the incoming connection. :-D
