  • Wow, that is absolutley superb. And whats great is that this tutorial can be used for a lot of different mini modles, not just LOTR. I wanna start making some mini models like these, and I figured the first thing I would be needing is "Green stuff" but where can I buy this stuff? Thankyou!

  • @3ntomology -Thanks. You can get green stuff on ebay or amazon or at wargaming stores. It is an epoxy putty that comes in a blue and yellow ribbon..

  • @2paintminiatures thankyou :) I found it on Amazon.com but it seems pretty expensive for such a small ammount :(

Well im gonna go to the nearby Comic Quest (comic book store). Ive never been inside but I am almost positive they will sell miniatures :)

  • @3ntomology -Ebay has some great deals. I got some there a couple of times.

  • nice stuff dude

  • grenn stuff much????

  • i love the tree and bushes, what did you use? :)

  • @XxGOfastaStripexX -You can use plant roots for the trees and dried up moss as the bushes. That's what I use for this.

  • cool :D but wouldent they rot ??? still loooks awsome!!! :P

  • hello, great video thankyou for uploading it best regards from william,n.ireland

  • What is the tune in the vid?? I cannot quite place it

  • @blazerman85k5 -It's called The Journey by Musicshake.

  • Thanx so much!!

BTW Really loved the vid.....VERY well done!!

  • do you play runescape?

  • Is that a computer game? Heard of it but haven't seen it yet.:)

  • what a MASTERPIECE!

  • Bravo bud.. That is just ... Bravo...

  • Nice tutorial. Is Teddy Brown your favorite color? :-)

  • I mean Teddy Bear Tan.

  • I'm a big fan of the stone effect. Which I feel you captured perfectly here. Well done mate. I'm a fan of your stuff you do some great work.

  • May I know why you used a brush to apply your basecoat instead of spraying on? I seems much faster if you had sprayed on but it might be you encounter some prob thats why us used a brush. If that is so I sure would like to know pls :)

  • I just have loads of cheap black acrylic to expend. No special reason actually. Using spray is good as well.

  • I so feel like trying this.... but am so afraid I will suck at it.

Nah, just kidding. ;^) It sure looks like a lot of fun to do.

  • "Suck at it" is the very foundation for all of us..lol.

  • Omg well done (: your one of my favourite modelers ever (: 5 stars

  • very nice! thx :)

  • Looks very good.

  • very nice work 5/5 great modelling

  • That Rocks!

    Nice work as always:)

  • very nice! thx :)

  • Simply Incredibly...Awe inspiring my friend. An artist in every sense of the word.

  • I find your work very inspiring. It makes me enjoy painting my miniatures a lot more. Thanks for that.

  • Excellent stuff! My god how you have the patience to do this. It must have took some time to compleet it?

  • its wonderful =D

now you can do warhammer 40k ^^

  • Brilliant

  • totaly awesome!

  • Hey, you've sent me alot of your videos, but I've never replied to you before, sorry for that :p

but I think you're doing a great job!

I've watched all of your paintworks and they're all great, I'm always looking forward to see the next one coming up. :)

  • Now you can do warmachine!

  • I must try one day!!!

  • Also, what is the tree made of? Actual twigs or something else?

  • Why do you not basecoat it with a spraypaint? Would be alot faster with the same results.

  • @gazeebo88 - It's way way cheaper mate. Slower but the same result in the end. Roots, twigs whatever you can get your hands on.

  • Your Number one and the best on youtube First class video

  • it looks awesome... i can really learn a lot from yor videos... i just have one question though... how is it physical possible for only one half of the arch to remain? what's holding it in place? ;) sorry...

  • @svinehunden -Lol. it's up to your imagination. No rules...just have fun.:)

  • my imagination tells me it's really a demon in camouflage and it's waiting to eat the travellers as soon as they stop to rest ;)

  • Cement.. plaster?? It's not at all impossible.. but I have to admit you don't see many 'half arches'.. they're either a full arch, or not at all.. :) In town we have the only remaining full Roman archway in Britain, as seen in my 'Goodbye Snow' video on CurtisWildebeest.. it only survived because they filled it up with rubble and rubbish for a good few hundred years.. :)

  • @basicmodelling i dare you to build half an arch ;) lol

  • Now, where did I put my Lego... :)

  • lol...
