Thats not generated in real time.

It is stored as a full motion video sequence inside the cartridge, much like a DVD.

The audio is stored as raw PCM... it actually sounds better if there is no FMV playing, but the GBC is so busy decoding the FMV that the PCM suffers.

This game is on the Game Boy Color, not the Game Boy Advance.

I've hacked the ROM myself, and I can guarantee you, the Game Boy Color is so busy with the FMV that the PCM quality actually degrades.

Open the ROM inside a good audio editor as unsigned 8-bit mono PCM yourself, at 4000Hz, it will sound much clearer and at the correct pitch.

@flygonbreloom Where in the ROM is it? I imported i into Audacity as an unsigned 8-bit mono PCM at 4000hz, but in the over 17 minutes of audio, I couldn't find the cannon fodder theme. Help please?
