At my church 1yr after the attack and they actually played the calls to police stations from pple in NY an my mom who's a police and some coleges were wlking down the isle and I apparently asked my neighbor is my mom ok cause I waz only 4 so I think that I thought those calls were live so idk I feel so grateful that my mom and my firefighter friends r ok.

Not to withstand a much heavier widebody jet, with lots of fuel and speeding at 440-460mph. Also, why does everyone say WTC7 wasn't hit? Next time you fly somewhere, ask the pilot if the plane can do 565 MPH @ sea level. They will tell you that it won't get beyond 225 MPH. And honestly, I would expect better critical thinking skills from a fellow ivy league graduate. I earned an M.A. in psychology from Princeton, and for a time took great interest in how people lie. Body language can only indicate lying if the lie is unplanned, such as asking someone "Did you steal a cookie?" a few moments after they did it. If this was a government coverup.....

Those towers, even though were damaged clearly by the fall of towers 1 and 2, HAD NOT collapsed on their own footprint like WTC 7 had. WTC 3,4,5,6 were damaged by fires, some floors were wiped out, you could see bent steel from falling debris- THIS was believeable! But WTC falling at freefall speed on its own footprint, with all floors wiped out ??Cmon It was the farthest building and it had to be demolished..

No one, even the government could get thousands of explosives into the buildings, and another point, if there were bombs, how did the plane know where to hit for the bombs to detonate? At my church 1yr after the attack and they actually played the calls to police stations from pple in NY an my mom who's a police and some coleges were wlking down the isle and I apparently asked my neighbor is my mom ok cause I waz only 4 so I think that I thought those calls were live so idk I feel so grateful that my mom and my firefighter friends r ok.

It still bothers me more than I thought it would. Seeing that on tv last night made me feel so sad for all those ppl and all the horror of that day and the days to follow. I was so scared that day. I lived in a big city atm about maybe an hour and a half, or something from where the plaine hit in pa. My Aunt picked me up. There were people EVERYWHERE! Running, driving.. you name it. I'll never forget the haunting images and stories. to those who lost anyone that day I'm sorry and I pray for you.

Footage of this awful tragedy never ceases to shock me to the core. I recently saw the film called 9/11 The Fireman's Story and the job those men did was truly awesome. I live in the UK but my daughter is married to an American and they were in NY that week & she told me they were going to treat themselves to breakfast at the WTC on the morning of 9/11 prior to their flight back to another State. They decided to fly back the day before because of business. Thank you God.

I think what we saw on TV was mostly computer animated, pretty badly as well, and that they used missiles to attack the buildings. But make up your own mind. The problem we face with corporate media might be even much bigger then what most people see as a realm of possibility.

It seems the conspiracy theorists think the planes went neatly into the buildings and then just stopped without any further damage. No 10000 gallons of jet fuel exploding, no flammable material inside the buildings caught fire, no chunks of burning bits of building flew out to hit other buildings, no melting of the steel supports in the WTC, and no weight from upper floors bore down on the weakend supports. It was the TERRORISTS! The dead deserve more respect - the poor victims of terrorists.

Imagine the change in trajectory (direction) and velocity (speed) from the point of impact to the point of rest. Now imagine a bulldozer and a car in the same scenario. What happens to the bulldozer? Barely moves. What happens to the car? It flattens out against the bulldozer. The weight difference between a dozer and fully loaded 767 is the same as 1 floor of WTC

If jet fuel was what caused the structure to collapse, how does one explain WTC 7? Very curious, indeed. I agree with you that the jet fuel alone, nor the impact from the plane, could cause these buildings to collapse at freefall speed as quickly as they did. They would have to burn for hours and hours.

Mass CANNOT travel through the path of greatest resistance at the acceleration of gravity (33fps/ps) unless something moves the support out of the way either sequentially or simultaneously. @astoriazfinest13 lol in 1945 the empire state building got hit with a 10 ton B-25 bomber on the 79th floor. Plane exploded with high octane jet fuel, sending flames down halls to the 75th floor. One of the engines and part of the landing gear hurtled across the 79th floor, through wall partitions and two fire walls, and out the south wall's windows to fall onto a twelve-story building across 33rd Street. And the Building stands.

@dobberdoss; The WTC complex was built to survive a slow going Boeing 707, lost in fog and travelling around 150mph. Not to withstand a much heavier widebody jet, with lots of fuel and speeding at 440-460mph. Also, why does everyone say WTC7 wasn't hit? Sure, not by a 767 but it was hit by those 110 story buildings- did you see the footage of the devastation from the other angle? Probably not!

@anneframpton, no matter which story, conspiracy, gov't, fairy tale, truth, etc you choose to follow...no 757 can go 565 MPH @ sea level. Next time you fly somewhere, ask the pilot if the plane can do 565 MPH @ sea level. They will tell you that it won't get beyond 225 MPH. I will take the professional opinion of a pilot or structural engineer 10 times out of 10 before I believe gov't officials who already lied right to our faces on a daily basis every day BEFORE 911 and just happen to profit.

There's eye witness and photographic evidence to attest to that. "Pull it" referred to pulling all firefighters out of the area, due to impending collapse. You love to bring up eyewitnesses, so I'll mention the firefighters that said that WTC7 was leaning and that the building would collapse.
