She didn't KICK the dog. She nudged him away. I will say that she should have told that handler of the other dog to please get him away and the other handler SHOULDNT have allowed his dog to bother the her dog. Who knows, her dog may have been a little dog aggressive (or the other dog). Sometimes it only takes a second for the dogs to light up. Tapping/kicking/nudging the other dog away may have protected both dogs. Again, she should have said something to the other handler first.

She should never have kicked the dog like that. However the other person should never have let their dog stick it's nose up her dogs butt like that. I might have turned around and bluntly told the other handler to pay attention. And fyi.. I have shown dogs for 15 years..if a dog doesn't like to show, then it isn't a show dog. All of my dogs that I show, love it. My dog are show dogs as well as family house pets. Mine can't wait to get in the ring.

My aunt breeds and shows Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and her dogs always knew that when the blue bag got put by the door, someone was going to a dog show and all 7 or so of the Cavaliers would rush to the door, barking, like they were trying to say "Pick me! Pick me! I wanna go!!" And the ones that didn't get to go would pout when they weren't taken to the car. And both handlers should never have done that in a show ring situation.

@D0N0tJudgeMe very true. Mine know when we are going. They wait at the door when they see me loading up...and as soon as I up in...they all run straight to the car and hop in their travel kennels. Everybody knows which kennel is theirs. My current male special has been showing since he was 7 months.. I had to leave him home one weekend.... he peed in his kennel for the first time in his life. He pouted for days. So now I always take him even if I only enter him 1 day.

Actually my dogs love showing. Ones who dont, I leave home and just play games with them. They love the excitement and applauding. They love to show off and stare down a Judge, daring them not to put them up. They love the sneaky treats in the ring and doing things with me. Dont brand all dog show people the same.

Oh and we are not going to get cancer just to please you, that is a dreadful thing to say to anyone.. My dogs are one of the most important things in my life

@NorwegianAquaManiac Um??? Learn the facts! These are NO circus dogs, and humans do NOT show dogs for entertainment! When I used to show my dog occasionally, he absolutely LOVED it and LOVED when it was his turn to freestack with such confidence because he knew everyone was watching. He's very into himself, but I love him nonetheless and since he loved being showed off, I allowed him to. If he didn't, I would have stopped showing him immediately.

I spoil my dog rotten and he is so happy and grateful to live with us. We home cook his meals, express his bladder (since he is now handicapped from a birth defect), groom him (he's a Shih Tzu), take him to hydrotherapy, give him omega fatty acids for his joint health, massage him, etc. Don't judge what you don't understand, ty

@NorwegianAquaManiac I work in a vet office.. I can tell you this. Show dogs are generaly cared for WAY better than most pets. Most show dogs live longer too. Many people do spoil their pets, but way more people throw them in a run in the back yard and feed them the cheapest crappiest food they can. Or they feed it table scraps until its diabetic, then looses a foot. Then they only bring it to the vet when it's about to die. Those are the people you should hate.

@gacktfan many of these problems were created by previously uneducated breeders. Today's SHOW breeders are doing everything they can to correct these problems. Our show dogs are dna tested, and health screened for every genetic disease that we currently know of before breeding. Any dog that fails any of the health screening is removed from the breeding program as well as informing the owners of any of the dogs relatives.Puppy Mills are your main problem.

@corgishow1 I watched the video you suggested. Maybe over there they do things differently. But I am disgusted my many things in the vidoe...and that's not how any show breeders I know in the USA do things. We do NOT cull any puppy unless it is severaly unhealthy and suffering. Temperment is addressed in AKC standards. In the USA we try to strive to breed great pets,, because 80% of the show dogs we breed end up being pets, not show dogs. We in the USA spay/neuter faulty dogs.

@gacktfan I have a 15 yr old Champion who only has arthritis...she is an Australian Shepherd, so this is well beyond the average life span. Show breeders spend thousands of dollars toward genetic testing and researching to better understand breeding and genetics so we can produce healthier dogs. Puppy Mills ( who are considered to have pedigree dogs) don't test and don't care.

@corgishow1 please note the term pedigree dog is used loosely. Any purebred registered dog is a pedigree dog. Most Puppy Mills only breed registered dogs because they can make more money. They do NO health testing. SHOW breeders put years of money and research into trying to breed the best specimen that they can to improve upon the breed. Most show breeders don't make a dime of profit. Please educate yourself.

I agree she shouldn't have done that, although it wasn't that hard of a kick. The guy also shouldn't be letting his dog go around sniffing all the dogs. He didn't seem to be paying much attention to his dog and it was moving all around him. Not that I really know how this works, but apparently he was also late to line up or something since he had the other person move.

@xsbadger17 The judge will inspect the dogs one at a time then put them in order he thinks they should be placed in, the guy's dog probably just got inspected and had been told to take that place. He should also have been at least spoken to about letting his dog sniff the other dog.

No need for that at all, there wa no aggression shown by either dog, a quick word with the handler of the "sniffing" dog would have sufficed, using your foot on a dog like that is NOT DONE

I would say that she disn't behave correctly, although she wasn't kicking. Her intention was to remove the dog from the butt of her own dog.

The handler that let his dog disturb the other dog should have been warned or removed from the ring as well.

Actually, It looks like the dog going behind hers stops to sniff the butt of her dog. She just swept it away with her leg. It did not look near as bad as the 12 second Euro dog show 2010 where the handler is smacking the dog in front of it several times. Its all pretty crazy.

Я в шоке .... О чём речь , господа ? Видео снято не на улице где гуляют собачьки с владельцами , а на Евразиии . Выставочные собаки должны быть абсолютно контралируемы , не зависимо от характера и темперамента . А если хендлер не в состоянии это сделать - нечего выходить в ринг . За подобное поведение в отношении моей собаки в ринге не сделала бы ничего .... Но вот потом , после ((((((

Настоящий профессионал нашел бы другой выход, хотя ничего страшного не произошло, один понюхал другого, собаки не напряжены, только "профессионалка" заехала чужой собаке в челюсть, а по правилам это дисквалификация, а владельцу белого как приятно, деньги за выставку заплатил, собаку привез, а его благодаря хэндлерше выгнали. Надо это на песике обсудить,там о чем то похожем говорили.

Вообще выставка это достаточно нервное мероприятие. Конечно надо быть по-спокойнее. Но люди все разные. И никто не знает, может кто то их собак рыкнул, вот отсюда и движение ногой. Оно чисто машинальное. Наверное так поступит каждый, если на его собаку рыкнут.

Лошадинная привычка распускать "ноги", определяется уровнем и условием жизни. И браво эксперту!

видео очень показательное, этот хэндлер очень скандальная , она по всему интернету учит всех жить правильно, и видео очень наглядно показывает, какие у нее правила. "Зказное видео" звучит смешно, только если у хэндлера Балашовой это уже рефлекс и контролю не поддается, тогда конечно заказное, подошла собака - она даже не обернулась пнула, ее сняли на видео и с ринга. А судья молодец.

hasa28 уж кому кому но не Вам рассуждать об агрессивности чужих собак, помнится мне Вы сами писали о том что когда к Вашей собаке приближаются другие собаки на очень близкое расстояние она кидается на них.

О какой агрессии идёт речь))), если собака не допускает в своё личное пространство другую собаку такого же пола это не агрессия к Вашему сведению. Надо уважать других людей и их пространство. Ещё раз повторюсь я не оправдываю пинок и считаю это не приемлемым.

А вот стаффи, которого пнули ((( - произвел очень хорошее впечатление. Хозяин в нем уверен и поэтому опасных расстояний для него нет, ведь его стаффи адекватная собака, а выставочный ринг - это не боевой ринг. Вот и собака и хозяин настроены мирно и ..не учли что другие хендлеры и стаффи могут быть неадекватными и есть какое-то "опасное расстояние", приблизившись на которое, можно получить в глаз за просто так.

Вообще да, если хендлер знает, что у него собака неадекватная, злобная и шваркающаяся на мирных собак. То да, наверное проще не выходить в выставочный ринг, чем отпинывать мимо проходящих мирных собак и чувствовать дискомфорт от того, что того и гляди сожрет собачка какого-нить песика, который косо на нее посмотрел и просто чуть ближе подошел.

М-да, а потом говорят, мол стаффи не агрессивны и адекватны к собакам.

А вообще, весь ринг стаффи сплошная провокация. Эти "боцовые собаки" стоят близко друг к другу ...но опасность конечно есть. Опасность исходит от агрессивных хендлеров в первую очередь. А во вторую очередь опасны неуравновешенные собаки, неадекватно реагирующие на сородичей, которые не проявляют к ним агрессии.

Или что? Стаффи должен быть опасным и рвать/грызть собаку, которая просто мимо чуть ближе прошла и спокойно понюхала ( что для собак адекватно и естественно).

А провокация заключается в подходе на опасно близкое расстояние с кобелём к кобелю, если бы участники данной ситуации были новички другое дело а тут то все люди опытные.А заказать могли и не пинок а например драку собак, я это конечно не утверждаю но допускаю. И ролик закончился не на выборе кобла в сравнении а сразу после инцидента, как то всё .....подозрительно.

Я бы не просто видео разместила, я бы еще и лицо набила этой даме с особой жестокостью, удалив конечности без анастезии ...

А эксперт молодец - поступил в соответствии с правилами МКФ, вот еще бы владелец пострадашего пса поступил в соотвествии с правилами и даму дисквалифицировали ....

уважаемый автор,а нет ли у вас другого видео с Евразии?вообще то складывается  впечатление что это заказное видео.И впечатлению этому способствует запоздалый выход Думчева в ринг и то,как он пихает своего кобеля под хвост другому.Такие действия мы неоднократно видели и для нас это не ново.

Интересно это снято по дружбе или за бабки?хотя зная скаредность этого товарища навряд ли за деньги..
