im only 15 but i dont like all the modern music joe longthorne is my favorite singer ive been to see him 3times at the blackpool grand theatre an he didnt look too good :( i wish him all the best i hope he gets better he is fantastic his my idol someone who i look up to all the best mate ill be coming to see you again.

Ths man is pure gold, there's no one around anywhere with a fraction of his talent and genius, if you've never seen Joe live you just don't know what your missing! Yes I've driven 200 miles each way to see Joe, he's brillant, you never see the same show twice,  original on every occasion and no he does not mime, hie records are brillant but listening to him singing live on stage is an unique and very special experience, he has a voice unrivalled in the world, , and he's a brill musician too!

I was a Butlins Redcoat at the Grand Hotel In Scarborough the year Joe did one of his many summer seasons there. Supporting acts were Hilary O'Neill and Dana. We went to see Joe in practially all of our nights off and always enjoyed to show as if it was the first time because Joe made and makes every single show special. An old and very dear friend has backed him on many ocasiones. I would love to see them on stage together. Joe is fantastic I would love to see him again.

Joe is a personal friend of mine.

Somebody commented on this video as being mimed.

I can tell you he never mimes even when he was very badly battling his illness non-Hodgkin's lymphoma which he has had since 1988.The reason he looks like he's miming on this clip is because this has been used from the re-released DVD, originally on VHS which is fine, so this is due to a bit of bad editing.

@hullstorage I worked on his show at Central studios in Nottingham back in the 80's. He got a round of applause from the crew after recording this song. I have never forgotten that performance. Much better than Bette Midlers. He should have put it out as a single.
