Engages the listener by drawing them in. Incredible sensitivity to timing that makes this absolutely magical and the most beautiful version I have heard, ever. Thank you so much for bringing this to us!
I first heard this music when i was about 9-11 years old. The beginning had me lulled with so much serenity it was like a walk in the woods or park lit by the moon on a spring night and the moonbeams running thru the trees giving a wonderful warm feeling of tranquility. The middle section had me catching my breath leading me to sadness with the dramatic turn in the mood and then after the tense passages, tenderness once more appears. This is my favorite of all time and until my last days.
The pace of the music perfectly suits the artistic impression in the video. Brilliant!!.
Chopin at his best. The music expressing his anguish and sorrow of his long lost love especially here in the slow movement. Music doesn't get any better than this. it can express that wordless emotion you can't describe but feel it so strongly. The only way you can express it is through music. Wonderful!!.
Partly by Thespadecaller's melodious-pictorial story telling + own mirrowed view: The story of American inmigration, then..since I imagine wheat grass at the beg, flying to polinate. Also the begining of the end of "paradise" A nomadic life (in history) had a natural rhythm. Once cultivation began... so did "Possessions". (maybe even having to spell correctly ;->), anyway.... cicilization-evolution-revolution-revolting sounds of: Mine...mine....mine ad nauseum. A bit blue.?
