  • True, we players have goten lazy. "slow down i can't see what strings" it should be 'is listening to record over and over and over'.

  • if you need tabs to learn this then you really shouldn't be playing music at all

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • seriously dude you need to calm down and post up tabs with it becuase if this is a lesson it fails completley I cant follow your hands not good enough res let alone be able to understand what strings your picking/plucking

  • @GrimRadke Do you really belive that Jimmy Reed had tabs when he learned that shit ?

Keep watching on and on......or buy a 20$ DVD !Then you´ve got tabs! This is for free........;-)

  • @tooslimforford and actually jimmy reed learned and wrote part of his songs in tab form half the time to remember so yes Tollslimforford, I know my music, I know this info is garanteed because he has tabs signed with his name on it that is dedicated to the library of congress, in books documenting him.

  • GIVE US THE GOD DAMN TABS DUDE!!! EXPLAIN I ANT KEEP UP WITH THAT SHIT!!!

  • je suis batteur de blues et j'adore jimmy reed et autres bluesmen mais grâce à toi je vais jouer du blues à la guitare. merci

  • Hey do have a tab of this lesson? I'm a beginner and it's hard te know al of the strings and notes that you are playing, and also the timming for the 12 bars in the blues.

    Thanks,

  • Thanks alot! Really helped me out!

  • Thanks. I'll be studying this till I get it right. JM

  • Thank you for posting. I added that to my lessons. I'll be hammering like a madman before you long.

  • yeah ! you got the right feeling

just keep playing until you get it right

    then play it somemore.

  • Well I knew Hollywood Fats and You do a pretty fine Job But his tone was a totaly different animal And his feel also. Can't teach that!!! My Dad is Larry "the mole" Taylor who played with Fats. My guitar player needs your lessons! Thank you for posting that!! Awesome of you... Danny Taylor

  • Just one criticism if I may.

You have a severe case of "Flying Fingers"...learn to keep as little movement in your fingers as possible. Your pinky and ring finger doesn't need to "open" that much between chord changes.

Wasted movement throws the brain off during playing. Especially if you want to learn faster songs with more fluidity.

  • I play that way in the Videos that people can see what I play ! Thats the only reason...

  • @tooslimforford

    My bad. Carry on.

  • Thanks so much for that, I love Jimmy Reed!

  • Nice job, and great tone! Nice and strong.
