dozirulf, your obviously stating that the heir books are a knock-off of harry potter, and they defenitly are not. this only likeness is a male main character and the fact magic is involved. most fantasy books have magic dude. the heir books are alot more grown up and have more danger the harry potter also, therfore i think they are superior

No, I agree with you about the similarities being only basic. But I do think the writing is second rate and certainly nowhere NEAR Rowling's caliber. The situations, dialog and the way people behave in T.W.H. are so unrealistic that I chose to stop reading it less than halfway through. Right from the start this chick says she needs some help digging up graves and not ONE of the kids says "Digging up graves?! What kind of sicko IS this aunt of yours?" Instead they're just like "OK, we'll help."
