i just got the philadelphia DVD and watched the deleted scenes... there's a great one where antonio banderas is sodomizing tom hanks, then pulls out and creams all over his hospital bed.
@EternalAngel318 Right, if you're dying, you should wear something a little more dignified than a tacky kitten-print vest, don't you think? I think his stylist was playing a final prank on him.
I almost started crying watching this my heart actually started to hurt.........I love your Freddie so much I hope to see you in Heaven when its my time <3
@TheFoxSummoner thats right, you are 13=dumb little kid, there is no heaven, its bullshit lies, religion is man made bullshit, get it into your head kid
@SpiritMolecule1 Haha your so stereotypical.........just because i'm 13 means i'm dub huh? so if I'm a girl that also makes me dumb huh? or are you not sexist as well? also sense you think there's no Heaven which means you don't believe in Hell or God makes you an Atheist huh...?
@MyMrMinty It's Bruce Springsteen, and yes it has something to do with Freddie, the song came from the movie Philadelphia which is about a man dying of AIDS!
Heartbreaking to watch, and to see him so ill at the end. I think the reason we still feel so sad about freddie is that there is literally never going to be anyone to replace him. And its also sad that we will never get to hear what he would have done with Queen or solo in the later years...
There are so many great artists on this earth who passed away. Freddy is the only one I cried upon his death. I was so blessed to be able to listen to him while he was alive and share the same time. Thank you Freddie!!

@LogWiz Do yourself a favor and look up Queen Live Aid Full Video HQ, and Queen- live at Wembley Stadium 12-07-1986 Saturday (25th Anniversary Edition). These are considered two of the best, if not the best live performances ever, by even other legends. Elton John, U2, Led Zeppelin, and many others consider Queen's performance at Live Aid beyond the scope of legendary. Please experience it even if it is only through Youtube, you will not regret it!
Freddie left us a legacy of great music and dignity coping with that insidious disease. He also left a lesson of professionalism to today's "singers".
@evgarcia90 It boggles the mind how many of today's most successful artists straight and not that were hugely inspired by Freddie. Lady Gaga, Axl Rose, Scott Weiland, and many many others. Every rock artist you see with Queen's famous hat and glasses got that from Freddie. I remember hearing Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby and freaking out, cuz he ripped off Under Pressure. I knew unlike a lot of my friends that Queen Under Pressure first! Huge inspriation to so many! Luv you Freddie!
a very moving piece of film/music, he was adored by millions yet faced his fate alone, and like a true performer, he gave his all right to the final encore. Freddie Mercury- lover of life, singer of songs, god of rock. legend.
If we remember what we love about him. He will never die. I fell in love with Queen as a young girl of 9. When everyone around me was in to Michael Jackson, Prince, New Kids on the Block, and Marky Mark,. I was singing Bohemian Rhapsody. I was 10 when my mom first watched a performance of Live Aid a friend sent her. I was transfixed to put it lightly. I became a Highlander fan because of the songs. I waited through the credits for Princes of the Universe. I adore Freddie, and miss him so much!
I think the comments are a bit unfair. I think Bruce's song fits quite well. We all love Freddie, genuine ones here anyway. I think the video and song are a fair attempt at painting a good picture. God Bless Freddie. We all love you.
@MrMarco2486 Oh no, do not misunderstand me. I adore Freddie, I always will. He is one of the strongest men I've ever known all the way up to the end. That voice never wavered. It is still glorious. But, I prefer to remember him as he was at Live Aid, or in the wonderful bubbly energy of Bohemian Rhapsody. You must admit the tole that disease did to him is heart wrenching, if you love him at all you cannot deny that. I prefer to remember what I love about him, just as we should.
When I think of Freddie, I think of him perched on the shoulders of superman screaming the lyrics to we will rock you, or backstage in Houston 1977 trying to find his shoe, or majestically overlapping hands playing the legendary piano riff to bohemian rhapsody in their break through video....Its sad to think that he wasnt like that till the end, and he went through a lot. I love you Freddie so much- you are still alive to me.
I really hate to see Freddie this way. Freddie Mercury gave me much cheer in my life through Queen's music. It's awful to see how much one of the best singer/songwriter's in the world can crash down from the top. R.I.P. Freddie, you will be in our hearts forever. I'm speaking for every Queen / Freddie Mercury fan in the world. "I still love you".
Freddie Mercury fought a war with the disease that took his life, but in the end he wins anyways. Legends are born, and legends are remembered; not forgotten. Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson fan. Grew up with Michael Jackson and my friend told me about Freddie Mercury, first song I listened to from Freddie Mercury was Don't Stop Me Now, not that anyone would care.
@vytong You do, and in that case, all that matters! My first was Bohemian Rhapsody, but I don't really have a favorite. He and the rest of Queen were/are just that amazing
I HAVE LIKED LOTS OF ARTISTS OVER THE YEARS . GREATS LIKE ELVIS, BUDDY HOLLY, I LOVE MUSIC OF ALL GENRES...BUT NEVER HAS A ARTIST PASSED AWAY AND HAVE ME FEELING LIKE I HAVE LOST A BROTHER, AND STILL BRINGS TEARS AND A LUMP TO MY THROAT AFTER 20 ODD YEARS SINCE HE PASSED JUST BY SEEING HIS PICTURE, IT IS VERY STRANGE AND I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY. I AM A BIG OLD HETRO MALE AND HAVE NO EXPLANATION APART FROM HE MUST HAVE HAD SOMETHING VERY VERY SPECIAL, AND AN AIR OF A VERY LONELY MAN.
What a Loss ...:-) Freddie loved what he did and made So Many people Happy with his gift of music...I feel so sad to look at these Images of him. I admire him for his strength to go on till he couldn't anymore. Your at peace now , God Blessed you with a Specia Gift...you were bound for fame...I will Never forget you...even if i lived to be an Old Lady of 90. RIP Freddie, you will always be Loved in this world and in Heaven were I Know you are.
Freddie RIP (Ritorna Se Possibile :)
@TheSapphireDragon1 He had beautiful eyes, a beautiful smile (even with those teeth), He had a beautiful pressence, a beautiful talent, and probably one of the most beautiful voices ever! There will never be another, like him! C'est la vie, darling Freddie, you live on in your music and my heart.
@ThePurplebluehaze Well I should have said he had a tremendous wonderful voice all the way through. He wrote and recorded Too Much Love Can Kill you while he was very sick, and not performing live. I like Brian May's rendition, but it's Freddie's voice I always hear sing it. Though I am typically a metal girl, Queen surpassed all genre's for me a long time ago. Rhapsody had blues, rock, and some opera in it. Freddie was just a Legend. Especially today, I miss him all the more.
I to prefer to remember the vibrant flamboyant Freddie in Bohemian Rhapsody. But, you had to admire his resiliency fighting a terrible disease, and never losing his dignity! He had that tremendous wonderful voice until he stopped performing! I admire his strength so much! Luv you Freddie, and miss you dearly! But, at least you are now at peace. Thank you for your beautiful gift of music.
This breaks my heart. I do remember Freddie as ever so vibrant! This is a great lesson to all. RIP Freddie, you are immortal. What an amazing talent. I only saw Queen once, but it was mesmerizing...Freddie reached the whole stadium and touched everyones heart.
RIP Freddie Mercury,You will never be forgotten. You will always be loved by millions. When I hear a glorious sound coming from heaven,I know it's you leading a chorus of angels.
@Cruzmaza79 CORRECT !!! The Boss wrote this song from his heart obviously, it is a beautiful song, he is wonderful let it be said, Freddie will always be The Greatest though and while he is sick in this video, there is still a halo around his head, love you Freddie :) Amazing video TheRedzippo, Thank you.
I don't like watching these images of Freddie, I prefer remembering him as he was for example in Wembley 86. It's striking how such a load of energy bursting onstage can come to this... I thank you Freddie for giving me such lovely moments listening to your music, and that's the reason why I still love you too
@queenmercury86 Freddie was a brave soul to record as much music as he could for us, on vinyl and on video, in his final years. Long live Freddie and Queen I still love you!!

I don't like watching these images of Freddie, I prefer remembering him as he was for example in Wembley 86. It's striking how such a load of energy bursting onstage can come to this... I thank you Freddie for giving me such lovely moments listening to your music, and that's the reason why I still love you too
