Was up there again at the weekend and I had a look at the drop at 1:40, that is sick, them trees are close, can you actually stop at the bottom????

Awesome riding, shithot speed off the drop at 1:13. Did your camera man have Parkinsons? If you got the film quality better you could make a really good video.

well said adz but im afraid youre easting youre time it only takes one or two a holes to litter up in woods to stop us all haveing gr8 time. next time im rideing will take bin bag to help clean up ,come on lads dig in !

dunno how many ppl are gonna read this but the forestry are seriosly threatening to close/buldose prevent use of the track due to the amount of rubish being left and unsanctioned track being built..put the word around, this would be a sad loss and with whinlater happening the forestry support for our trails is dwindling any hows..cheers adz

we ve been building trails there for well over 7 years now...dunno if many users are gonna read this but the forestry are seriously threatening to close the whole thing down due to the rubish and unsanctioned trails being built, could be gone b4 summer unless summit changes...adz

from cockermouth mainstreet head on up castlegate (the hill at the end of mainstreet)and past the school, carry on down this road until you reach a junction, turn off left towards the golf corse (signposted) carry on down this road for about half a mile and your there (you cant miss it, just park at the bottom next to the gate) hope to see you up there, got alot of new stuff, deffinatly worth a look =D

how do you get to the DH track from cockermouth? i live near barrow...ish and would love to check it out sometime.
