backside = when you're back is towards rail, or the way you are movin. So when you are roling backwards(fakie) and do an 180 with you're back first out, it is BACKSIDE rotation, and opposite is frontside... it is logical!! just because when you are riding normal stance and do a bs 180 to one side doesn't it mean spinning to that side is backside when you're driving fakie...
