  • Dan, it's true the Spirit does not need to eat. We are just inhabiting this body to have an experience. What hit me is when you said, you are just going to have to learn to eat, because my problem is I eat, but not the right foods. But it's been 10 days now since I learned about you and I am watching your videos and am learning and growing from you (from our Father's Spirit in you). You also said, you have to learn that you are loved and are loveable, because that is another one I struggle with.

  • Systematic undereating sounds like a disorder to me.

  • Hi Dan. Just came across your channel while searching for information about gastric bypass surgery. I have been watching your videos for days now and have changed my mind about using a medical intervention for my issues and got my juicer out and hit the supermarket and am starting a raw-food diet. Do you have another site with more-recent videos? I noticed these are over a year old. Thanks for your positivity!

  • @TheEmster2011 Hi, sorry, I know I'm not Dan, BUT I thought I would just let you know that he uploads videos very frequently here on YouTube. Just click on the blue "liferegenerator" name on the top left of any of his videos to go to his homepage. You should find recent videos there. Hope that helped and congrats on the new lifestyle change! Best of luck :)

  • I use to be just like that for 2 years

I'm so glad I'm out of that

    soooo sooooo glad

  • :) <3 <3 <3 <3

  • i understand what you mean by we are our spirits, but i feel if we weren't our bodies, then we would have a physical manifestation of our spirit, it just simply a "lower" vibration, and this is how it works, but our bodies are just as holy as our spirits, and it's not unfortunate, because it's absolutely beautiful, this reality is absolutely beautiful, and it's real and has a meaning to be here, just like every other reality, this reality is just as important as every other one, including spirit

  • whenever i get into an eating frenzy, i force myself to fast for 12 hours and then its all chilled from there, i get no cravings...

  • raw relish sounds yum - recipe maybe Dan?

  • Comment removed

  • @goanyways i think you have misunderstood what he was saying. he's talking about letting the small things get to you, usually things that are beyond our control so letting them affect you is pointless. these negative thoughts are formed in the physical level and must not be allowed to influence your true nature on the spiritual and subconscious levels, the higher levels of existance. easier said than done, hope i explained that well.

  • @Srslyblack Yes you did, thanks and much love and happiness to you in the new year. peace :)

  • this video was so sweet! i sometimes forget because being raw has helped me through a lot, that there are people out there waiting to overcome difficult times! long live raw food! love ya dan. a lot.

  • I began with anorexia a couple months ago because i believed that i would lose weight & i did but i was so tired & depressed and all that came out of it was binging which lasted for 3 months and then i got sick of it & i said 'ok im not going to binge for a whole week and if i can do it then that means i can heel myself and someday become truly healthy' & i did it & i feel amazing! Go health & fitness

  • Thank you for helping!

Please let her know that starvation deprives the brain cells of nourishment so she cannot think clearly, properly or rationally. She makes decisions based on distorted perceptioons.

People with anorexia often mix feeling light spirituality. They take the light feeling to an extreme and struggle to shrink the body completely. That goal leads to death.

  • Hi Joanna, thank you very much for your helpful input! I really appreciate it, as I'm sure others do too. Peace be with you!

    Love, Dan

  • What was that about Short water fasting?

What does that do for you?

I have this problem where I am so thirsty I have to drink all day even right when I goto sleep I need a glass or two of water. Then I get up at least 4 to 6 times a night to go pee. I hate it! But I am so thirsty throughout the day.

I asked the doctor about getting on water pills but he told me those were terrible to take, is there anything else I can do to help stop all the trips?

  • Do you eat a lot of salt?

  • Yeah I do eat a lot of salt :(

Actully one of my favorit things to eat is a raw lemon peeled and cut in half then I sprinkle salt on top of it and suck it off. I been eyeing a lemon across the room for like 4hrs trying to resist the temptation. I cannot stay away from salt. I even tried Ms.Dash, I like it on food but I feel bad when I dont eat much salt.

I thought salt made you retain water not get rid of it? Thank you so much for your videos I'm trying to lose weight I currently weight 490bs.

  • Dave and you are such a great source of encouragement for me thank you both.

I started to drink juiced veggies and fruit today.

Bought Jack La lane Power Juicer alittle while ago and made my first drink at 10:30am because of what you said whatever it takes to get drinking. I put carrots, bell pepper, celery, cilantro, kale, cucumber,an apple and orange in it. Very tasty.

Can't wait to try that cauliflower and corn wrap and dip I watched yesterday :) Thank you so much.

  • Eating disorders, like any addiction, is only a symptom of a problem. So this girl -- and anyone with eating disorders -- should also work on what makes her feel so shamed. deal with parental and relationship issues. Most addicts have had some kind of major trauma, and sometimes during the pre-verbal stage (ages 0-3) which they internalized. My point is that yes, the societal pressures on women to be thin is real, but the problem here is ramifications of extreme trauma during brain development.

  • It's really nice to see a vid like this. I'm obsessed with my appearance to the point where I have lost friends because I wouldn't leave the house because I felt 'ugly and chubby'. It's crazy I've been seeing this wonderful guy who I blew hot and cold with all the time because of my food issues and then I ended it with him because I didn't want him to see the state I was in (binging and then dieting).

  • I was on raw foods for 5 months and it was amazing I didnt even care how I looked because I felt amazing, however that fell short and I ended up on cooked foods and finding it difficult to stop eating. I feel helpless, how could I ever give up give up love and life for food? It's crazy!

  • well Dan, the good thing is..you won't need a shrink..lol..we just love ya! we are here for you too! keep em comin'

  • 5 stars. Difficult one Dan, I know a couple of women who have issues. Modern society squews everything, humans are like the food in the oven. Because the same foods are available all year round and mineral deficient high sugar foods are cheap, the body and the mind suffer. Seems almost like there are two ends of the mechanism, eat while there's plenty because tomorrow there may be non or the opposite, where folks almost self ration to in the mind conserve what there is, maybe?

  • I reaaally enjoyed watching this video! Thank you very mucho Dan :D! Take care my friend! Hugs and Love!

  • Yes Dan I am a spiritual being having a human experience. Also Dan I get this too with the eating! When I eat too heavy I get all upset and probably beat myself up. I hate how I feel I get all tight and I feel the inflammation. When I eat light I am loose and every thing is cool but then I get hungry. Then I eat too many nuts and avo's. I look for the medium. It's hard, I hate it when I eat too much. Gotta find the love. Thanks for your honesty and knowledge.

  • I am the exact same way! Trying to find a balance is something that I'm trying to figure out. Sometimes I think I should find that balance and then there are days I think I should just listen to my body and eat what it needs that particular day. So maybe the swings back and forth aren't bad? I guess it's part of the journey!

  • Yes it's a work in progress. I think for me maybe sticking to the high water foods is best. More concentration on rest and taking it easy. This includes thoughts, music, being compassionate, and not over stimulating myself with anything. I tend to over extend so then I crave the comfort foods like avo's and nuts. If I stay away from the somewhat extremes I can stick with the fruits, cucumbers, green juices. This diet is best for my joints and I feel loose, full of inspiration and love. Thanks.

  • Gotta say she is on the right path. She has accepted that she has a problem and is wants to try to help herself and has reached out.

Dan is amazing...she couldn't have asked for someone better to help her :)

She is going to be getting lots of love and positive energy her way.

  • Dan

That's a very very great message you shared to help that nice girl.

You are making a real difference in our (your subscribers) world!

    Thank You

    Stu

  • You are sending out love to this girl, self love, which is the key. You have many healing gifts Dan, and you also are greatly loved! You send out great energy and love and people can feel it and benefit from it and that is the greatest gift! God Bless you for helping others.

  • hey dan, looks like your gaining weight?

  • @jaimemgn no he is not and who cares..he is still hot

  • hey dan.

again, like in another vid you did, i think its great - and very important - you do show your true human-ness? and let others know your not mr perfect-dan.. and have and do struggle with your own issues.. being able to speak from personal experience is helpful to others to understand, your not just preaching from holier than thou aspect.

    ~Peace 2 us all~

  • Dan the Man! Love what you do! Thanks for the sub!

  • dan,

thank you for choosing to share you with the world.

    love and peace

  • MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

  • i have been in recovery from anorexia for 12 years i still need to get tube feed but i hope to stop that soon.

its hard but i know that all things are possible with God!

  • I love you my friend, my sister in Christ. So happy to see you here posting to Dan Man. He's one of my favorite speakers on YT, great guy I am honored to haven gotten to know this year - Krista too. Keep up with his channel, you will benefit big time Kylie. Healing is happening through God and raw foods. Keep at it. God is guiding our paths. Your tube feedings & my IV treatment are only temporary, they are helping us survive in the moment. The more raw the better, eventually it will balance out!

  • But it's Christmas...lighten up! ;-)

  • But maybe it's because of Dan's face hair. I like later videos much more then summer's ones! Except Christmas and NY, winter is a serious time of year and we can think about deep serious things. That's good and needed. Keep them going, Dan! U are the man!

  • lmao relish!

  • Eating nuts and seeds and walking on water. I have the same problem as you; eating too many nuts and seeds. I dont believe they are a natural part of our diet. I know that we need them for the zinc but we can get this from greens. Nuts and seeds keep us grounded. The Bonobo and the Orangutan, the only species of great apes that we have studied in their natural habitat, do not eat nuts and seeds.

  • Chimpanzees do, but their habitat was destroyed when they were discovered. We dont know what their natural diet was. Very few animals eat nuts and seeds as a part of their natural diet, and we certainly do not need the protein. Human milk is less than 1% protein, this is for a baby that doubles its size and weight in 180 days. Nuts and seeds are also high in Phosphorus and acid forming mineral. Phosphorus Chelates calcium from our bodies, leaving us acid. (see more below)

  • The calcium bound to Phosphorus forms calcium phosphate crystals, causing arthritis, and kidney damage. Dr. David Jubb writes about this in his book; Jubbs Cell Rejuvenation pages 67 -69. Also see Secrets of an Alkaline Body by Annie Padden Jubb and David Jubb, Pages 113 -114 Walking on water (actually rice paper same thing).

  • haha man I thought you were tallking about eating foods with relish on it, ha kinda threw me off at 1st. These vids are RAW Dan, lots of good honest info and positive vibes, thanks man.

  • Your approach is really sincere too. I know it's hard to understand, it's hard to live with because eating just isn't as easy as it sounds, especially with anorexia. I can say with every grain of sand that raw foods saved my life - God and raw foods. Telling her to go eat most likely wont make her go eat BUT - hear me out - telling her she deserves to and is loveable may really encourager her to make that decision for herself. GREAT side thoughts, Dan, thank you for pointing that out.

  • Working on the roots is how we heal the mind. Working on the levels, YES and inner child work - been doing that for YEARS and is really a crucial aspect of healing. Things will pass my dear and your GI tract will smooth out again, I am praying for you.

  • Hugs. I have a feeling someone who is a mutual viewer of ours wrote this to you. It's a really deep and connective feeling we both know this person. Thank you for pointing out healing the mind as that's where things start, in the mind - it's psychological. Healing the body is just as important. Good advice Dan. You know my issues and how I can relate to this topic so I won't get into that here but know every topic you tackle is a gift and a job well done. You speak to many Dan. Love to you.

  • @MyOwnStickFigure Thanks... You're one of the people who showed me that recovery can be done... The way I feel it has to be done... And because of you, I now try to feed my spirit too... meditation, and being gratefull about beautiful fruits and veggies, full of life. Thanks

  • Bless your sweet soul my dear. Recovery really is a lifelong commitment, get in it and you WILL win it. I am so proud of your progress and blessed you shared this information with me. I am so thankful for all of the activism I have been able to do for the eating disorders community and hope to return to it once i have more solid recovery - which is why I am on a break from all of that so I can focus on my healing and also relationship with God, my Ultimate Healer. Stay strong honey, you are!

  • I want to place my signature under these words too! can I?? Johnny, are so real cool and important person for me! U really show us that recovery is possible!

  • I love you my sweet fire fly. I must give each and every bit of my recovery - every little step no matter how big or small - to God. Thank you for the love, always. You are a dear friend and I am touched I can help you. Ps. I see a few comments on Dan's face. I think the only thing we should be saying about it is how HANDSOME it is! Good to focus on his heart and messages though. They are so powerful. Hes got it all going on! Super Dan Man!

  • I love u too, my dear Flamingo! Yeah, Dan is handsome and sexy man! :)) His look reflects his inner peace & health and that's cool!

  • For your friend, Dan, who maybe having an "eating disorder," why not direct that person to Satsang practice? There is no wrong in anything and maybe she has no eating disorder at all. Nothing to change, nothing to do...

  • "spiritual inhabitant of the body" this is some amazing and powerful words.

  • This is why i love you!

  • Dan you are amazing person.

    Much Love!

  • lol i wanna send you love energy and power... ok feel it lol

  • This GentLe Approach Is Fine. A GooD HelPful LoVing Thing. GOoD Work.

  • Great Video Dan, I hope we get some follow-up on this one. Happy Holidays !

  • Young lady - Keep full on the raw foods. Try some steamed veggies like brocolli and kale. I care about you too. Here's faith - Knowing that one day this diet will be part of your life so much it's un-thought of. If you stick to it. Imagine how healthy you will be if you take that inevitable calendar time into your own hands. Do not be afraid of who you will become. Do not be afraid of who you will become.

  • Wonderful as usual Dan. Much love to you and Krista for the holidays ; )

  • i thought you meant relish... like the condiment LOL

  • @shoozey Me too. I didn't even notice until i seen your comment.

  • Amen, beauty radiates from good health. If you take care of the body, the spirit will heal and blossom and the beauty of the person will radiate from many angles.

  • Great vid Dan ! I really enjoy those blogs and keep them up !
