Why u didn't buy High & Low on bluray it cost the same $ as the dvd, n i heard the transfer kickass,

Great selections!  Pickup On South Street and Battle Of Algiers are absolutely stellar releases. I keep waiting for Criterion to do an upgrade for Rublev, but I may have to bite the bullet and just get that edition. I just got my 2nd B&N Criterion order in the mail, so I will be putting up a video soon!

Great CC haul there, buddy! Battle of Algiers deserve to be in every movie collection. Red Beard is one of Kurosawa's many masterpieces. The Blob is an excellent 1950s B-flick.

Great vid. You got some amazing Criterions. I need to see Pickup on South Street. I like Fuller and always seem to forget about this movie during the B&N sales. Nice haul, thumbs up.

Did you say before you don't buy Blu for any film not made originally for Blu? I haven't bought any Criterion the last couple of years waiting til I get a BR player.

@bigideas3 No I only buy blu-rays of films and TV shows(new shows) released from 2010 onwards...so all the 2010 films I have are on blu-ray and all 2011 films I want I'll be getting on blu-ray too.

man i still havent watched battle of algiers !! only documentaries :( i saw rublev and it was freaking weird lol

also never saw the original the blob , wow hahahaha wasnt crazy about high and low for a kuro movie. pick up on south street is good i am in love with the chick from the film hahaha
