This performance is amazing and outstanding. I've never seen anything like it before. I'm watching with lots of emotion because I saw the tinikling when I visited my dad in the Philippines. I even tried it. If anyone thinks this dance
is easy, try it. I had the sore ankles to prove it.

yes i agree w/ jbentio. formally speaking, screaming should be done when the performance has already ended. but yea, it's actually normal to filipino culture.. btw don't bash me lol it's my opinion :P
This is taking our beloved Tinikling to a higher level. I'm so proud and so awestruck. A little fine-tuning and this would be a perfect showcase of Filipino vibrancy, creativity and just simple down-to-earth beauty. Congratulations!!

Ireland has Riverdance, the Chinese have their spectacular acrobats combine the two and lighten up the mood then you have the Filipino tinikling. What a jolly and light acrobatic delight! Congratulations kids!
Absolutely wonderful! All the dancers should be proud of themselves for this spectacular performance. I'll be making sure all my family and friends here and abroad see this! Good job and fine representation of Filipino art, beauty, teamwork, creativity, and ingenuity.
Wow!!! What an awesome performance!!! I was a former MK member that performed this dance at UC Davis...many years ago ;) I can't imagine myself dancing this now and with these stellar moves...wow! Kudos to all the talented dancers and choreographer! JRC
All the hard work in practice is all worth it...wow, I am amazed by the complex routine the group has done. The choreographers has done an excellent job! Ang galing nyo talaga!
.Next, to the performers, GREAT JOB! for amateurs like you, there was minimal flaws and you all did it smoothly and keep your coordination. See what hard work, your time(well spent), patience, perseverance and of course the natural grace that every pinoy is innately endowed with(he!he!--mapa sayaw o kanta-magaling ang pinoy!)---these are ingredients to a masterpiece...timeless...GO!pinoys, you rock!--so far the best of all the tinikling posted on you tube...i watch all of it..
EXCELLENT! SUPERB! firstly, i congratulate the choreographers who certainly did a very good job here, coordinating and making the tinikling more interesting.I hope you DONOT follow suit with adding the hip-hop, it just doesn't blend. This is traditional yet has a modern twist which is going to be timeless.hip-hop will die, so, i strongly suggest you DONOT add it.
After watching the performances of other universities Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN) Tinikling Performances (UCLA, Stanford, CSULB, etc.) as well as professional dance group like the Bayanihan dance group, have to admit that this is the best. Maybe because the camera has a better angle, but nonetheless the creativity, originality, and execution is SUPERB! Tinikling remained about the same as far as I can remember for many many years, but these students revolutionized it. Outstanding job!!
Bravo! To all those who participated in this dance including the choreographer/s...you just proved that there is no limit to creativity! You are awesome! This is the best Pinoy You Tube feature ever!
