TTTV's presentation moved to Leeds on March 17th 1996. It was done this way so that people wouldn't complain too much about the switch -- they even had the Newcastle announcers record a few junctions OOV, and used the YTV annos who had worked in-vision at Newcastle in the first few weeks so that it didn't seem as if anything had changed. Cynical in the extreme.

Was TTTV's continuity coming from Yorkshire at this point? I thought they moved down when TTTV became C3NE.

I always surprised YTV didn't do anything sooner, at least Granada reinstated Tyne Tees after C3NE.
