This piece works well in february aswell......sitting behind the window with a warm cup of choco looking outside over the cold river and the snowy trees with my thoughts wondering of in the abyss. Well done.....this composition is all what music making is about.

Exquisite. This song seem interpreted very different by perfomers as it is very emotional piece yet as a bit of tenuto and playing as per the note could also greatly convey the composer's idea and this kin of of tranquill interpretation fits best too. ^^

Mary guitarists miss the mark here by playing too fast, or they just don't have a feel for the melody. The emotion is missing. The faster B section is a nice touch and makes the song more interesting. Yours is the best rendition on YouTube. Nice work!

Nice playing but you shouldn't speed the tempo on page two or the third section after the high E's. Also the final chord sounds much better when played on the seventh fret and let ring.

Well, thanks, but I was actually trying to be true to Brouwer's original recording. Have you heard it? I think the faster B section adds more excitement and expresses the lift that Brouwer was going for. I really can't stand listening to this piece with a straight tempo - it's too dead.

I played one for a jury at the end of last semester at my local college.

I love leo brouwer, his pieces a so beautiful, unique and moving. <3

Looks like this was recorded on the stage at my university. The resemblance is creepy. Very accurate, nice tone, but the interpretation is a little lost on me. You've got the technique to be sure, but I'm not too fond of the style here.
