I saw them at Red Rocks in '95. I tagged along with my cousin who was an undergrad at Maryland. Since then I've seen DMB a dozen times and I must admit, the shows have gotten weaker and weaker. Now I refuse to see them because I'm afraid of disappointment. I really really used to love these guys, but their new stuff just isnt doing it for me. Flame on!

@i3ish - Heavens, I don't know if I can agree. Given,the first time I saw them was in 2002, or so,but I think they've been fantastic each and every time Ive seen them since. In fact, they're still my favorite performers from all of the artists I've seen. I do find them better in outdoor settings though, could that have made a difference? I know it sounds somewhat ridiculous, but I've sincerely noticed a difference from when I've seen them inside, than out. Maybe its psychological. hah.

They are a band built to perform for people, not to use special effects in a studio; raw talent and spirit/love (whatever you wanna call it) is what they are. that's why most of their albums are live ones
