@rowthat I didn't see anything in deli's comment that indicated only flabby people have flavor. I'm sure we all know flabby ppl that don't have flavor and thin dancers that have lots of flavor. Flavor is like any food spice. Can I convince you that curry is the best spice in the world? That'd be unrealistic yet I may not like the flavor of bbq sauce and love the flavor of curry. But that's me. So it's just deli's opinion that Magna doesn't have flavor - to you she does and that's ok.

Is she an accomplished dancer? Yes! The best in the world?? She'd have to be considered the best in NY to then go for best in the world. But then again it comes down to personal opinion whether one classifies her as best or worst. That's the beauty of mambo - no restrictions.

As to what other poster said, I don't think she needs to move her hips any more.I see many dancers with great form/technique, but who are stiff, unoriginal and have no "flava".I also see dancers with lots of originality and flava, but who aren't so good technically, and who have not so great form/posture.IMHO opinion Magna has it ALL, and when she does some of her body twists/hip moves, which on some women can lean towards raunchy, on Magna it always comes off very sophisticated.
