  • This is not a review.

  • I love my phone but I do not know how to put phone to pm alarm can someone help me please.

  • Straighttalk is awesome. My brother went to the moon last month and I have been talking to him everyday. The service is great and only 45 a month.I do not know how they do it.Have a great day!

  • I have a question. Straight Talk never counts down my internet usage or text message usage. I get the $30 card, and at the end of the month, I still have the 30MB of data and 1000 texts, never keeps track. My question is, how are they gonna know if I run out of minutes? It's the last day of my service this month, and I am still able to make calls on it. A couple months ago, I was still able to make calls on the last day. Maybe I never have to refill?

  • I use the internet everyday, all the time, and I never see data usage go down, and I text everyday, and I never see that usage go down either. I think there is a glitch with Straight Talk's prepaid service, but I don't think they really care about counting down texts, so I was wondering how do they keep up with thousands of people's minutes of use if they never count down texts or data? I've had people reply to me on other forums, saying this is happening to them as well in the past.

  • they charged me for a message they sent me that said thankyou for refilling your airtime and it wouldn't say who sent it till i opened it and they charged me for it i would not recomend there service unless you are buying the unlimited everything plan they are freakin thieves

  • The truth Straight Talk in 2010, was very good but by mid-May 2011 has become a waste, I recommend that you do not buy this service, we have 3 phones and we are looking to get out of them.

    Orlando Sequeira

  • Instead of the $30 plan I would go for the $45 unlimited plan. Especially if you own a business. The service is awesome. You cant beat att/verizon service.

  • $45 unlimited talk/text/web seems like a great deal. What are their phone lineup like? Does StraightTalk offer any smartphones?

  • @ZurichAM I've been with them for a while now. Their coverage/service is GREAT. The phones are less to be desired. You have to drop at least $200-$250 for anything DECENT that can even compete with a entry level smartphone.

  • Comment removed

  • they will be offering the samsung precedent android powered smartphone in the near future. but i would highly recommend getting an unlocked gsm phone from ebay. also unlocked windows phone 7 smartphone's are really dirt cheap when bought unlocked. as of now i have a Motorola ATRIX 4g but AT&T recently charged me with an $87 bill. so i am in the process of switching to ST's unlimited everything plan and using their sim car. make sure if you get an unlocked gsm smartphone that you clear the VPN

  • I bought the iphone 4 on the straighttalk plan and i love it.Great service at a great price.Apple iphone 4 is awesome.Apple,Apple,Apple...................best phones in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!

  • so i can buy any phone and just use straight talk on it?

  • @anxuizz NO IT DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT

  • If I'm 16 years old do I need my parents to buy a pre-paid cellphone and use it or do I need to sign any papers?

  • @codelyokoblue you can buy it prepaid just get the phone cards no papers to sign

  • I'm always on the lookout for a better deal, especially in such a competitive prepaid phone market. I have to say I still haven't found a better deal than Straight Talk $45 unlimited out there, one of the earliest unlimited plans and still the best.

  • @xxnissansilviaxx The service coverage is using verizon towers so same footprint. Works great for me, even works down into the subway station here in DC.

  • I have the 1000 minutes plan for $35 a month and I’m real happy with it but my new GF has been calling and texting me so much I think I have to move up to the $45 unlimited plan! All kidding aside the service is really great and reliable.

  • Hey guys so I'm scrambling for a new mobile solution since my contract carrier jipped me out of 800 dollars over the last year. I like Straight Talk and what I'm reading so far sounds pretty good but how good is the reception in suburban areas? Anyone?

  • @aedward43 sounds like my mine tried to get me out of 900

  • Just download the Straighttalk site and you will see how many more deals there are to look at. The one thing this reviewer is correct about is that you wont find better deals than straighttalk

  • This wireless phone has real good plans with it. $30, $45 a month unlimited talk data text. Download straighttalk and you'll see what I'm talking about

  • Damn hillbilly talk too slow.

  • I text a lot so if you do I suggest the $45 a month plan. Everything that you expect from Straighttalk is included. No contracts, 1000 free text and minutes. This phone is also going to save lots of cash

  • The thirty$ plan is good for folks who don't use their phones a lot. If need be you can upgrade to $45. all these deals are good mainly because it's the Straighttalk company

  • I have been with these company one year using the 30 dollar plan every month. I love these compnay has'nt given my any problems and i recomend it for anyone trying to leave contract phones.

  • What you get from this company is screwed,

  • I think this is the same phone that i have. I liike this phone too. The plans you speak of are fairly interesting. I have the 45$ plan. WIth the plan i have i never go broke as i dont really pay much for my minutes.

  • Did you? You trust everything you read on the internet?

Straight talk is pretty great though, the internet isn't good and my friend hated customer service. But I've not had a dropped call in two months and I had like one a week on a more expensive plan. All about trade-offs...

  • I bought this phone from walmart and after seeing this review I know I bought wisely

  • Just to answer @KissMelmPunk The plans are cheap not because of SMS restriction for calling out of the USA but because Straighttalk are far ahead of any other company in the USA. That's why they cheap!!

  • Went with Straight talk after ALLSMELL ass reamed us and spld out to ATT which has no service in our area. Straight Talk works GREAT here and is cheaper by far. Good stuff

  • nice job

  • Oh ya well. If you have any issues whats so ever and you will there customer support will leave you hanging I know several people who went months without a phone. There famous for saying we will call ya back. Guess what it dont happen. Customer support is in India and they hate us as americans. So why does Walmart use them its totaly beyond me. FIX YOUR CUSTOMER CARE YOUR B.S. POST WILL NOT COVER YOUR LACK OF CARE!!!!!

  • Straight talk is very competitive in the prepaid market. There are not that many who can really compete with a deal like the straight talk deal. Straight talk is on a whole other level. You see with straight talk i get both good rates and good service. You can't beat the best of both worlds lol.

  • I previously had another cell phone provider and found the service less than satisfactory, I moved to Straight Talk and was more than pleasantly surprised, gr8t customer service, brilliant deals on cell phones, flexible offerings which is amazingly cost effective, NO CONTRACTS and diverse offerings which will fit anyones budget.

  • Good review! I like Straight Talk byt saw online that some ppl have issues with their Customer Service so I found out that thier Facebook page has a very good support team. You just like their page and you can get help. Makes a good thing even better!

  • @BrainiacJr Thanks for that....My only problem with Straight Talk has been customer service...everything about them is really, really good...the phone, the unlimited use plan and the Verizon network! I'm loving being with Straight Talk as I never have to worry about airtime or cell phone bills ever again!

  • thank's hank or mr.hill

  • I was lucky enough to be referred to ST by a friend and now I've referred my mom and brother and everyone is saving. I'm finally a part of a major and dependable calling network with Verizon and its makes it so easy to take advantage of.

  • 1000 free minutes and1000 texts a month and no contract at only $30 a month would have been unheard of until Straighttalk arrived on the scene. This company continues to astound me with the cellphones and bargains they offer the public

  • I also like this pay as you go phone . For only $45 a month I mean who can beat that.. Unlimited calls, and text. Straighttalk must surely be the cellphone company to beat. If anybody out there knows of a better company, I'd be interested to know.

  • This is all I need fom a cellphone. debsumm said it all. A good reception , keyboard and 1000 free minutes, no contract and all this for $30 is a good deal. That's Straighttalk in a nutshell

  • I bought this phone at wal-mart on the 1000 freeminutes and no contract plan for only $30. I saw this same phone advertised at another place and it was $45 with only 500 free minutes. Another place it was free if you enteed a monthly contrac t. Free?? Straighttalk has no competition

  • I think that the $45 a month plan which includes free text, unlimited minutes and this quality phone is just what we have come to expect from straighttalk.

  • Will Straighttalk be compatible with the new iphone from Verizon?

  • Since Straight talk was launched over a year ago most of the big cell phone boys have tried to copy it but with not nearly the same effect! The combination of great phones, Tracfone back-up, Verizon coverage and $45.00 a month for unlimited everything is just a totally winning deal and the consumers are the winners!

  • hows the service coverage?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx if you get a cell phone that runs on the verizon network it is great. IDK about the GSM phones

  • hows the service is coverage?

  • I used to think I was actually getting a good deal with my contract plan, but they were robbing me!! Once I learned more about prepaid plans like straight talk, i really felt sick about the degree to which people out there are getting ripped off. With my new straight talk plan I'm saving over 30 dollars a month, nojoke. This commercial is right on the money

  • @jesseboots410 I'm saving about $100.00 a month on Straight Talk...you must be a light cell phone user....my contract used to come to over $150.00 a month and it was such a waste of money! I have the Samsung Finesse which is the best phone I've ever had and I'm loving it's apps...I'm like a kid with a new toy and all for $45.00 a month!

  • 45$ a month unlimited everything on the Verizon Network... Im not really sure what else to say. Straight talk is easily the best deal on the prepaid market these days. Stragiht talk is the gift that can change someone's finances now, not years in the future. Some one just got me a straight talk phone for christmas and i am already saving and it is great.

  • I tell you what I also like this phone! I like not having a contract and saving money everymonth. I like being able to call from anywhere whenever I want to. I like not having dropped calls and having good reception. I like only paying $45 a month for unlimited time talk, test and data. Overall there is nothing I don't like!

  • Straight talk is a great deal with great savings. Before this new year starts i bought one of these phones. I have only had mine for a bout 3 days but so far so good. Keep the deals comin

  • lol im a ST agent to :D

  • Wow Straight Talk is exactly that straight talking, I am on the unlimited plan and can say that it is value for money and I save every single month since moving to ST. I receive nationwide coverage as ST uses Verizon network which we all know is just the best and I receive free 411 calls.

  • I found myself paying over $175 a month for my old phone. I mean i was getting hosed! Finally, i said enough and came across straighttalk. I termed my old contract and paid a huge cancellation fee but i was still saving money in month 2. I was concerned that the service would be inferior but so far it is very comparable.

  • Straight talk are in my opinion the world's no 1 money saving cellphone company. Everyone you speak to will attest to this fact

  • I am on straighttalk and what is so fabulous is that I dont have to worry about any contracts any longer I just pay as I go with wonderful service as well. If you are still on contract I guarantee you, you are paying too much! Try ST for massive savings on your cell expenses.

  • not only is it reasonably prices, seems to me the cheapest around for the service Straight Talk has to offer. at $45 a month i get unlimited talk, text and web access with excellent nationwide coverage via verizon. no extra charges for out of state calls and no dropped calls what so ever.am so glad i switched to Straight Talk and would recommend it to anyone who is still stuck in a contract

  • Straighttalk has an amazing offer. For $45 you get unlimited talk, text and data for a month. I use it to run my office on wheels and I have never been let down with dropped calls etc. Straighttalk is definitely a money saver.

  • I would like to know whether the restriction has been lifted on overseas calls. I need to know this before I buy what I consider another moneysaver deal from Straighttalk

  • Everyone had different points of view for their cellphone use. With Straight Talk first of al you will save, it has NO contracts and no bills to pay at the end of the month. I have not try to call out of the country but I am sure they will make some changes soon. Visit Walmart for your smartphone, Straight Talk Cellphone.

  • Straight Talk has been so awesome. When I switched over, I started saving around $40 a month. I didn't really know how much I was overpaying for an unlimited plan until I saw Straight Talk. I myself got the Samsung T401G because its great for texting because of its full QWERTY keyboard.

  • Straighttalk has really worked well in my business. I need to be on a cellphone and until I switched to Straighttalk I was on a contract. Being on a contract was a nightmare and every month the bill was really scarey. Extra charges for roaming etc. Now, with Straighttalk I just pay $45 a month and I have unlimited usage for the month. This has really saved me a lot of money in my expenses.

  • thanks for the video

  • I can't get mine activated. I need HELP!!

  • Thanks firefighter. Your review confirms for me what I already know. There is no better deal out there either on the $30 or unlimited deal at $45.

  • I've been using Straight Talk for about 10 months now and i think by now its safe to say that the service is even better than what i had when i was locked into my old contract. I assumed i'd be giving up some network availability when i made the move but to my surprise i cant poke a hole in the plan. I got my girlfriend one for xmas and plan to pay for both our unlimited plans which is the same price i was paying for just me not too long ago.

  • @SciTeach14 Good Call SciTeach! I was thinking about getting my little girl one from the holidays too. I think ill get her the $30 plan; i think it will be good to ration her minutes and texts a little. If she does well on finals ill bump it up to the unlimited plan.

  • This is the best wireless cell phone available. It is cheap to run - only $45 a month for unlimited talk text and web. I use my phone a lot and am happy to know that I have saved over $600 in the past 10 months. This money will sure come in handy with my Xmas shopping. To all of you out there ,who don't have straighttalk yet, all I can say is don't hesitate!

  • Straight Talk saved my kids lives....I was ready to kill them if I got just one more horrendous cell phone bill! Now I lives are peaceful and all I pay is $90.00 a month for both kids to be on the ST unlimited plan and I'm saving a ton of money compared to before!

  • Straighttalk is definitely a smart purchase. With the $45 unlimited plan it really is unlimited talk, text and web for 30days. There are no extra charges it is just $45. I don't believe there is any contract that can offer a better deal

  • A few of you have mentioned the new smart phones by Straight Talk. How do you like them? How do they compare any of the other smart phones in terms of price and use? I do know that you need the $45 Unlimited plan to use these phones which sounds much less than what others are paying with contract phones. Do you have the ability to buy apps? I know a lot of questions, but just want to make sure it is a "smart" purchase.

  • I have been with this service since March 2010 and I have no problems at all.Great signal ,everywhere, and great service.I have the Samsung r355c and I would recommend it to everyone.Great service and a great price! Thanks Mike for a great review.

  • the recession hit us all i guess, and everyone is trying to save where they can., straight talk saves me at least $50 a month since i switched from contract to straight talk prepaid. i pay $45 a month, get unlimited talk, text and data, enjoy my samsung finesse , barely let it out my hands, it is just to much fun using it and enjoying the fact that i no longer have limits to my cellphone usage and thanks to verizon i have not had a dropped call. prepaid with straight talk is the best for me

  • This is an awesome deal, but if you're looking for something sexier check out the Nokia E71. It lets you access apps like FB and check your email. And since I have unlimited web with Straight Talk, I'm checking my email all the time.

  • Straight Talk is such a great deal for $45 a month unlimited everything. No bills or contarct either,so yeah!

  • @JeanieMeaney I think that not enough people pay attention to their cell phone bills when they do their budget. Most people budget like 80 bucks a head for a cell phone plan and I think that's a little ridiculous, especially since it seems to automatically come with a hefty two-year contract.

  • I love that Straight Talk also took care of my holiday shopping this year. With the money I saved over the last six months, I bought two of the Nokia smartphones for my son and husband. They won't be pining for an iPhone anymore!

  • @nuckyt305 That's a good idea! Those iPhones are like 700 bucks without signing an ugly two year contract and there's no way you could realistically get one as a gift without selling your soul. Not so with Straight Talk!

  • how much did this phone talk?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx Not sure what you mean by how much it talks but I can tell you then plan is a great value. I just got another Nokia 6790 for my daughter yesterday on Black Friday because the unlimited plan is so much cheaper than a contract carrier.

  • @dolphan127 sorry meant how much does it cost

  • With the recession I have had to watch my bucks - this has been where straighttalk has been most helpful. For only $30 a month I have got 1000minutes of texting and talking which I have found is a heck of a long time. A contract would be way too expensive for me right now and anyhow I wouldn't get the value for money that I get with straighttalk

  • my review is that straight talk is the best prepaid cellphone plan ever. i have the unlimited plan for $45 amonth with unlimited talk, text and data and i do use it all. not sure how straight talk makes money with customers like me, but i am real happy with my unlimited plan. i have a great phone too, the samsung finesse. the reception is great and i pay no extra charges for long distance. the perfect plan for me, a so called frequent cell phone user

  • The Nokia 6790 sure is a smart phone. Why do some people not get it and choose other smart phones on contracts and just pay and pay and pay even more! With Straighttalk for $45 a month you get unlimited talk, text and data which is such great value for money

  • I have traded up to a Nokia 6790 smart phone. I have been on Straight talk unlimited for about a year, and have saved at least $50 a month, so I thought that I would treat myself to a top end phone. It still only costs $45 a month and I get internet and GPS. Its a great deal

  • Hey! I also heard about the Walmart sale on nov 26! aparentely they will be having a cool samsung phone for 45 with a 45 air card with Straight Talk, and as a happy ST customer myself I'm bringing my sister, she is 14yo, to the store to her her first cellphone! I'm seeding yet another Straight Talk happy customer.

  • Cool super cool Straight Talk! I have one and love it, I pay only $45 a month for unlimited, but you know that! What you may not know is this: I heard that for Black Friday Walmart will be having a sale on straight talk and you can get the Samsung T255 for only 45 bucks with a 45 buckd air card, that's a free phone people! It's awesome, I'm getting up early and get it for my little brother as a xmas present, he'll love it! I love black friday's sales!

  • unlike this guy, i use a lot of txts and minutes, I got the $45 unlimited plan and i'm using it on my new Nokia 6790 smart phone and i love it!! i only pay 45 bucks for the same things i used on my last phone, facebook, gps, videos, except i use to pay 100 bucks! its pretty cool that i have a phone where i'm on facebook and the gps but only pay 45 bucks a month. I'm oi use too pay 100 bucks for

  • It really is a bonus not being on a contract. With the recession I really have had to watch my wallet. I cut from a contract to straighttalk. To cancel my contract I had to pay a fee but all round it has still cost me less monthly to be on the straighttalk $45 unlimited

  • I have the $45 unlimited plan and it has been saving me money everymonth. I used to pay in excess of $80 a month on my contract phone and there were always those little extra charges for longdistance calls etc. With straighttalk it costs me just $45 a month and there are no extra charges - I know exactly where I stand financially

  • great review. Really explains how I feel at least. I finally switched to prepaid phones because I was like soo sick and tired of getting pushed around by all these other companies. First off- they charged me fees for every little thing I did! I don't want to bad mouth and say the company.. but lets just say the cancellation fee was worth it to start immediatly with Straight talk. SO happy i switched. Great phones and services and the value.... i mean cmon. 45 bucks. unreal

  • 45 bucks is a secret gem. seriously. My parents are now cutting me off and I have been finding ways to maintain my lifestyle while downsizing on many things... its so wonderful that a cellphone wasn't one of them. Of all things I need most.. its takling and texting. yeah it sounds silly . .but texting is just the way we communicate I got straight talk and it has been remarkable. IF there ever was a problem I could cancel month to month but with the money that I've been saving, i wont have to!

  • Ahhhhhhh wait it is 45 dollars a month!! That is so sweet. I was scared about getting a prepaid phone cause I thought they would be cheap and what not.. so when I was at walmart the sales lady ( bless her heart) showed me straight talk. Told me that people were buying in nonstop and she had like NO complaints. The phone is great great so far. When they say unlimited minutes and web and 411 and texts.. they mean it.! great service

  • No worries i felt the same way back in the day. Now that i have a full time job and rent and all that i cant afford to throw away money. Straight Talk is money in the bank no doubt! i can call and text all i want for 45 no matter how much i do it and i haven't had any probs with the service either and i've been traveling around the north east

  • For $45 a month I get a great phone that does everthing I need it to do including a camera AND I get unlimited talk, text and data time - No smart phone that costs a fortune can beat this deal. I am very happy with what I have

  • Straight Talk ftw! Trying to make my car payments, pay college tuition, and go out on weekends is hard enough. And I know most girls my age cherish their overrated smart-phones, but for me that stuff definitely comes last. I need a cell phone plan thats practical and affordable. Those iPods and Blackberries really just arent worth the price you have to pay to keep them. I'm a Straight Talk girl, for $45 a month I get all the nationwide calls and text capabilities I need.

  • TooBe i couldn't agree more! I just cant justify paying so much money every month just to have a iphone. I have to say tho my phone with straight talk is gr8. I have a samsung touch screen phone thats so easy to type on its ridiculous that im paying 45 a month for unlimited everything

  • All i want from a cell phone is that it must make and receive calls, take messages and have good reception and my Straight Talk phone does just that at the best rates in town! I don't know how people find time to surf the web on their phones....don't they work for a living like the rest of us?

  • You know, I don't know whay we all worry about the cost of the phone, when the monthly cost is much more in the end. This looks like a good basic phone, but I am going for the Nokia 6790 smart phone. Ok it costs more to start with, but after that it is $45 a month for unlimited everything, and I think that is a great deal.

  • So..is there any way to get rid of the SMS restriction for calling out of a country?

  • @KissMeImPunk as far as i know there is not. I am guessing this is why the plans are so cheap.

  • @firefighter1811 This phones are really cool, affordable and have great nationwide coverage, I never tried to call aborad, those phone calls don't come cheap in any carrier, what you do is buy a calling card to the place you need to call, let's say for example anyplace in latinamerica, so those card route the call using a local us number, and voila! And because the $45 is unlimited you can talk a lot...I call my family all the time ans it works perfectly!

  • @KissMeImPunk in january you can use the IDL service

  • @ColonnaJorge Is it for the monthly plans though? I'm stuck with pre-paid

  • @ColonnaJorge sorry I can't give you that information, I work as a ST agent, and 2011 will have some surprises for all ST costumers. :) happy hollidays

  • I actually bought my straight talk because of all the comments and reviews. I really don't care if their website doesn't have any videos or "nothing"... the truth is my smart phone is great and I do pay only $45 a month for unlimited calls, text and web! so I don't understand this person commment. I wonder, do you own a straight talk phone?

  • All the comments written on this site are by Straight talk marketing team employees using fake accounts...it's so obvious !!!!!

The web surfing is so slow on Straight talk....you wait minutes to go from one webpage to another....you can't watch ANY videos....no youtube...nothing...............

If you want a decent web experience...do not buy Straight talk. Its good for CALLS ONLY.

  • This deal is the best out there! I got a Nokia 6790 because I wanted a smart phone, and with only $45 a month I get unlimited service, but I'm keeping in mind this is a great deal for the hollidays, makes for a great present on xms morning with phones starting as low as 59.99 that include a 30 dollar card!

  • The best deal is Straight Talk cellphone at Walmart. I am a customer that wants to save money not throw it away in extra charges per month with other companies, a contract. Since Straight Talk does not have a contract you feel great and also with the savings you all need. For this Holiday Season have it in mind. Don't waste your time in contracts that you can't get away from for 2 years. Get Straight Talk already and save.

  • Yes! No contract! Unfortunately, the 1000 minutes doesn't cut it for me so I have the $45 unlimited plan, but it doesn't matter because I'm still saving $100 dollars a month compared to what I used to pay! And no contract means I'm not trapped, I can just leave at any moment and not have to pay an extra fee. To be honest I don't think I'll be leaving anytime soon though, this is a tough deal to beat.

  • No ST service in Anchorage, AK even tho the coverage map states so. No partial refund or credit for this either. So they engage in false advertising

  • I Switch to Straight Talk. I used to pay a lot for my old cell company. Now with Straight talk I have the $45 a month unlimited plan, no contracts, no dropped calls and the best offer for this Holiday Season knocking in our doors. The savings I've had in just 3 months have been fenomenal. Please try it, you will be so happy you switch.

  • Straight Talk it really cool, for $45.00 I have unlimited calling/texting/data for the month and when I call I know I do not have to worry about dropped calls as Straight Talk uses the Verizon network.

  • @1rickyd2010 Yeah I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has noticed the quality of service that I get on Straight Talk. The Verizon network is the largest in the country I think so why would you get a Verizon contract when there's Straight Talk for 45 bucks a month?

  • @finsman777 Agree with you there. The quality that you get for the price is unbeatable. Not sure why anyone would want to sign a contract and pay nearly $100 a month when you can get Straight Talk for the same/better service and a ton cheaper.

  • @boardwalk786 I agree with all of you, Straight Talk is straight shooting with their offers and it is great that they are so flexible so you can change your option according to your usage monthly. Now where have you seem something like this on a contract without having to give up an arm and leg.

  • Looks nice but I am jazzed about the new Nokias. The E71 does everything a BB does and it streams video, has voice GPS and push email. Great! Straight Talk rules.

  • @WillPowter Straight talk definitely rules. I mean $45 a month to get on the verizon network for unlimited text, email talk, you name it. Love it!!

  • @WillPowter I really love the new Nokia smartphones as well. It used to be that phone quality was the biggest reason to stay away from prepaid but with Straight Talk and the NOkia 6790 smartphone why have an expensive iphone plan???

  • My parents almost had a heart attack when they recieved my previous bills when I was on contract. They wanted to take the phone away until my aunt mentioned Straight Talk $45.00 unlimited talk, text and data. They do not hassle me anymore and I can keep in touch with the boy friend and friends.

  • THIS FONE SUCKS I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT HAS ITS RANDOM PERIODS!! AND WHEN YOU CHECK YOUR SERVICE PLAN IT CHARGES FOR YOU WHEN YOU TEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I RECOMMEND VIRGIN MOBILE TO ALLL THE TEENS

  • Hey man, i appreciate your review. I like this phone too. The pay as you go feature is quite cool. I like the way you don't get committed to a long term contract for choosing to use this service. I have a lot of trust in straight talk.

  • Very helpful review. I'm so glad to be free of my old contract since switching to Straight Talk. I like that they have 2 plans to choose from--if my budget or needs change, it's a relief to know that I can change from the $30 to the $45 plan or vice-versa, without any paperwork or hassle.

  • I am the proud owner of 2 Straight Talk cellphones. One for me, and the other for a gift. My has Unlimited text, talk, no contracts, no hidden surprises, only good things like savings every month. For $45 monthly you do not have to worry about does scary bills showing unexpectedly with charges for your overage in text messages. Straight Talk Cellphone is the one to buy.

  • After reading some comments, internet searching I went to Walmart and purchase a Straight Talk Unlimited cell for $45 a month. You purchase the phone at their price, and probably if it's more that $100 you will get the month free or already included. The phone is yours, it has no contract and the reception is great even inside a store, or anywhere you go. You won't be sorry you bought a Straight Talk Cellphone

  • Straight talk is very good quality. With straight talk you have no contracts which is my personal favorite part about the service. I also enjoy my very cool phone which works everywhere that i go. Straight talk seems to be better than the rest.

  • Straight Talk is the way of the future in Cellphones. I am pleased I made the switch from AT&T to this amazing no contract, unlimited text and no worries for next month. I have bought 3 already, for my son, my niece and myself. We have saved a lot in a month on cellular charges. Get it quickly.

  • I started out on the $30 plan with straight talk which gets you 1000 minutes 1000 texts and 30 megs of data. I was skeptical since the price was so low but it really is as advertised. I haven't even come close to using all of the minutes each month and the service is the same as my friends who are paying at least double what i am. The savings was so great i was able to terminate my old contract early and still save on the overall cost..

  • I also went all the way and got me a Samsung r451, it's a great phone and has all the features you want from a smart phone. Plus with the Straight Talk unlimited plan I only pay $45 for unlimited text, web and voice. It's a great deal and I save tons of money. My previous service was more than 100 bucks and more often than not I would experience drop calls. This doesnt happen with Straight Talk. It's the best deal for prepaid and unlimited!

  • I have the straighttalk unlimited for $45 a month and I got one for my son in college as well. We now can speak to each other whenever we want to and across states for just $90 for the two of us. My contract for just me used to cost about $100 a month

  • I love the straight talk plan and straight talk cellphones. My family uses the unlimited plan for only $45 a month and we love it! It really is a great deal...

  • My parents have been a little tight for cash lately with my little sister going to college and all. We had a sprint family plan but they were still paying a ton! Then one night my dad came home with some new phones for us from straight talk. I was upset to loose my old phone at first but as soon as i started using my new phone from straight talk i was sold! The service is even better tahn my old plan and my parents are saving a ton

  • MayorofLS you made such a good point...I got my college kids Straight talk qwerty sliders with the ST unlimited call, text and data plan for $45.00 per month and they have no excuse for not phoning home and the college budget holds no ugly surprises at the end of the month!

  • It was a bit of a no brainer convincing my father that this was by far the best pre paid deal for me. Most parents would frown severely on this, but my fathers online a lot. And well, if you can bond online with your dad, then bully for us. Straight talk rocks!

  • It's a great phone. I save a ton of money on the 45 dollar plan, no joke. After about 2 years of using the service I saved roughly 1200 dollars, the entire time I've had unlimited talking, texting and web. A+++

  • I go with the $45 unlimited plan and gee it is more than worth it. Before when I was on a contract my bills were in excess of $75 per month because of all those hidden costs now, I pay only $45 and that includes all calls (nationwide), texts and data with no extra costs at all

  • Pretty good deal for the budget conscious consumer. I like prepaid plans and ST has it down to a science. 1000 minutes, texts and 30 mb of web for $30. Good deal depending on what you need.

  • Does it have a sim card

  • Straight Talk is not verizon... It's tracfone! Look on the official website ya noobs!

  • I love when people review their phones. It's kind of adorable. But I don't blame them, I was using tmobile for a while but switched to straight talk when I realized what an amazing deal it was. unlimited minutes, text, internet for only $45! I mean, come on, seriously? I was paying over a hundred on my tmobile on a crappy network. Straight talk uses verizon, which is way better, I haven't had a dropped call yet. do yourself a favor and make the switch :)

  • I ordered my phone off the Straight Talk website and I got free shipping on my phone! :)

  • Straight Talk is actually a really great service. I know some people laugh at it because it's a prepaid service but for 45$ a month, I get all the texts, calls, and even data that I want per month. That means I never have to watch my minutes or limit my mobil web use, which is nice, and I'm saving like 50 bucks a month. If you want to save money during these times then I recommend you check it out!

  • I got the r451c from Straight Talk as I'm a text freak and it's a dream! I added the $45.00 a month unlimited call, text and data seal as I was sick of worrying about my airtime running out and now I'm in cell phone heaven!

  • I have the R335C which I got at a really good price and now what makes it an excellent deal is the $45 unlimited from straighttalk. For $45 I get 1 month with unlimited talk, text and data. I am so glad that I am with straighttalk they are really cool to me.

  • I have the $45 dollar package. such a great deal! and no commitment to a contract. works well for me! thanks straight talk.

  • 1000 minutes and 1000 texts for $30.00 a month are plenty for me but I got my kids the $45.00 per month unlimited talk, text and data plan as I swear they eat airtime...now we have peace in the house and two happy teenagers!

  • I have this cell it's a piece of crap.

  • Pretty good phone for $39. Straight talk is such a good service for the money. I use their unlimited plan for $45 a month and I get unlimited web, texting, and phone service. For $30 you get 1000 minutes which is still pretty good if you are not getting a contract. I would recommend to others.

  • love Straight Talk. unlimited talk, text and web access for only $45 a month is the best deal i could find, it is great for the kids, as i know now how much money will be spent every month, no surprises. kids can talk as we all know, but with this unlimited talk plan i am save and the kids are happy. it works out for me aswell as i have to travel quite a bit for my job, and as there are no extra charges for long distance calls, i can stay in touch with my family without worry about the cost.

  • To me Straight talk prepaid offers really unbeatable value, has reliable verizon reception and offers quality phones. Both $45 & $30 prepaid packages are incredibly cheap. 1) $45 plan unlimited talk, text nationwidee & unlimited MB & 30 days service, 2) $30 plan, 1000 texts & 1000 minutes nationwide & 30MB & 30 days service. There are no extra hidden charges, no cancellation fee's & there's automatic top up for convenience. I have not seen any other company beat these deals.
