After this performance, I want to hear SCARBO ! ! ! I am amazed at the quality of your Apassionata, your Scriabin Etude, your Campanella and your Ondine but it seems like it fell apart in the Transcendental Etude No.10 and even more in the Mephisto Waltz. Or did you learn those 2 just for fun?
Hi. Actually no I wasn't; I'm not nearly good enough :p I read the article on you in the CSMTA newsletter. you can see me in there too; I'm in one of the SPA piano finalist photos... haha...
You are so great! Since I saw the first piece of music you played , the high tech and deep emotion you played in your piano performance! I am from Shanghai China. I piano lover and I do love playing all day if time is allowed!
Climax: No where to go but, the piano has a limit. Very linear but forceful. If only there was no limit to the string length. Damned. Good volume despite the echo clipping, which requires using one's imagination.
absolutely gorgeous! we've all had memory slips in performances, it's no big deal. out of all the interpretations i've heard, this is probably the most flowing and expressive. and whoever called it a drama overload obviously doesn't fully appreciate how beautiful this piece is. anyone know how old he is?
are you asking how old the guy who said it was drama overload is? i dont know :( but if you are asking how old i was at the time of the recital i was 17.

You know how to make space and breath in your phrasing. It's a rare quality. *Especially* for teens...

one of the most hardest pieces ever.
I'm to perform it next month.
But I can't put it together!

One of my favorite piano pieces from Ravel. It is about a sad love story between a sea nymph and a sailor.

Absolutely incredible. What I find most admirable is your emotional involvement in the piece!

Well played! You have an incredibly big technique. I'm very much impressed by your command of the instrument.
Although musically, your performance lacks subtlety imo. Do you play Scarbo?
suremate 5 years ago
nope no scarbo yet. that will surely consume much of my time some day

hey he switches the parts of the two hands!! cool...
but he moves too much... drama-overload.
quite okay what... just a few mistakes...
i don't think the last few pages were that bad. just some little glitch in the finger work.
