The Deutsche Welle is a typical media group. They love to tell you that East Germany was communist.

Many of you think that East Germany was communist, ruled by evil Marxists. But it was not. The GDR was Stalinist, ruled not by the workers but by the hypocrites of the SED.

The east German people do not want the Stalinist regime back. They only want a system were there is no fear of losing your lob. The SED gave many east Germans a save feeling. But in the end, it was all based on lies.
