I have watch several videos where folks in the black church are dancing around like they are at a club, yet you say THAT is the Holyghost? It has to be given by the Spirit of God and that is how you gain true understanding. With out that then the bible is just words. When you say that the Bible is just history then it's clear to me that you are not getting this from God.The words are meant to tech and inspire us and it is from these words that we become closer to him. The Bible is our instruction manual.

This is a much smaller following than that of Binny Hinn's. It's funny to see Binny lay his hand on someone and command them to be healed. Then they fall back into the arms of five or six former professional football sized guys, so that they are spared hurting themselves on stage. @LightGnolaum ok look first where in scripture does it say that the gift only comes after baptism, in fact there is no scripture that says that or that their has to be laying on of hands by the melchizedek priesthood. if i rember right paul in one of the letters says that at salvation we are given the gift of the holy spirit and also the disciples sometimes did not lay thier hands on people and those people got baptised and also what about the 120 no one laid hands on them.

I believe in God and I've been to churches where people are exploited for their money and they do shit like this. I've never had it happen to me. Not to my body. But the Spirit has taken over me before. As for Scripture to back it up, which it sounds like what you're asking for.
