i think the -60 engines should stick with aircraft bleed air and electrical generation. no wonder most of these engines were pulled and rebuilt for flightline use on much stronger aircraft such as the F-16 and F-15E. peace!
I was there in the 86th when they split the squadrons and stood up (actually moved an old Air Defense F-106 squadron number/mascot) the 87th. They instantly had cooler patches and a cooler history than us, which we responded to by drinking a lot of beer in the O-Club, back when you could do so without raising LtCol eyebrows.

There has never been a Red Bull T38. That's two tone gray, not blue and silver. Google search Red Bull T-38 and you'll discover it never existed.
