Weird thing though is that it looks like the ipod touch is handling the reds better. If you look at 0:39, ipod touch is showing a more brilliant red in the dirt road. Yes you can clearly see the zune on top and the ipod on the bottom, at say 12 seconds. I own both of these products, i seem to like my ipod a bit better (although its storage capacity is not what im looking for) the zune video quality is better, but they are both good for their size. I have a Zune 80gb but I would would hands down sell it and get the Ipod Touch if the internet actually worked on it (since most of its features need internet). But no i've heard bad reviews about the Ipod Touch's wi-fi and I don't know how I would get it to work on secured networks (like ones at school and work). If that worked then the Touch would blow away the Zune in comparison (except for not having radio)
Well first of all i have to admit that they are both great devices.the zune actually reads mp3 and you dont necessarily need the zune program to put music on it. the ipod DOESN'T READ mp3. what itues bassically does is convert your mp3 files to a file readable by the ipod. If you don't belive me open your ipod device from my computer drag files in it. i guarantee it will not read. the zune can be easily modify so you can simply drag your files in to it without all the sync process.

The only thing that zune has going for it is the higher capacity and the wireless synching (Which i find pretty useless because , if your gonna be synching it and are unable to use it why not just connect it to the pc and charge the battery while youre at it )

I use the iPod for most games, internet, and the speaker. It's very rare for me to plug headphones into my iPod touch. I use my Zune 80 for my music (it fits all 1500 songs with plenty room to grow), my movies, and my TV which automatically syncs my recorded TV shows from Windows Media Center. I also like the Zune for Hexic, a very addicting game.

So... Having just got a healthy inheritance from my late grandmother, I've now got the funds to go out and buy ANY PMP I'd like. After doing the research, I can just tell that the Zune 80 is right for me. All I care about is MP3s and videos. Nothing else. I use the computer for the internet (ancient, eh?) and find that carrying around the internet with me will needlessly stress me out and make me check my emails and FB account THAT much more often. So... Zune it is for meee :D

you're completely right. That's what I try to tell people. I have the iPod touch 8GB and Zune 80 although the touch in the video isn't mine. I find that I barely use the touch for music, it's more for the Internet and email, and the Zune, as you said, is for the high capacity, not to mention battery life! Okay, I have had an iPod Touch AND a Zune 80. Unfortunately, the iPod Touch was stolen in March. But anyway, I think that both the Touch and the Zune are awesome players in their own rights. Zune is just a copy of an iPod, but worse. It plays radio, it uses Wi-Fi, and yeah, maybe iPod Touch copied that from Zune, but at least Apple knows how to use Wi-Fi. You can't browse the Internet and buy movies/music/whatever with the Zune.

What are you talking about? The zune has already recieved at least 4 updates, the last one adding gapless playback and auto-playlists. It started at version 2.0 and is now at firmware version 2.5 even with games. That's right. Zunes have games. Look it up.

The only thing that zune has going for it is the higher capacity and the wireless synching (Which i find pretty useless because , if your gonna be synching it and are unable to use it why not just connect it to the pc and charge the battery while youre at it )

I use the iPod for most games, internet, and the speaker. It's very rare for me to plug headphones into my iPod touch. I use my Zune 80 for my music (it fits all 1500 songs with plenty room to grow), my movies, and my TV which automatically syncs my recorded TV shows from Windows Media Center. I also like the Zune for Hexic, a very addicting game.

A)Bigger capacity, Zune is ten times bigger.
B)Picture, above video shows the Zune is more vivid.

So... Having just got a healthy inheritance from my late grandmother, I've now got the funds to go out and buy ANY PMP I'd like. After doing the research, I can just tell that the Zune 80 is right for me. All I care about is MP3s and videos. Nothing else. I use the computer for the internet (ancient, eh?) and find that carrying around the internet with me will needlessly stress me out and make me check my emails and FB account THAT much more often. So... Zune it is for meee :D

But the Zune's screen is just as good, even if it is a measly .3ins smaller and not a touch screen. They both are for different kinds of people: the Touch for those who need to stay connected all the time, and the Zune for those people (like me lol) who need more space for their music and videos and such. Stop being so critical and just accept the Zune and iPod Touch for what they are - different PMP's with different capabilities for different people.

you're completely right. That's what I try to tell people. I have the iPod touch 8GB and Zune 80 although the touch in the video isn't mine. I find that I barely use the touch for music, it's more for the Internet and email, and the Zune, as you said, is for the high capacity, not to mention battery life! You're absolutely right - each serves a slightly different purpose and they're both great devices.

Okay, I have had an iPod Touch AND a Zune 80. Unfortunately, the iPod Touch was stolen in March. But anyway, I think that both the Touch and the Zune are awesome players in their own rights. So what if the iPod has a few more Wi-fi capabilities? Not everyone needs or wants that. And so what if the Zune is not as advanced (in some aspects) as some of the iPods. Yeah, the Touch's touchscreen is really cool and advanced.

Zune is just a copy of an iPod, but worse. It plays radio, it uses Wi-Fi, and yeah, maybe iPod Touch copied that from Zune, but at least Apple knows how to use Wi-Fi. You can't browse the Internet and buy movies/music/whatever with the Zune.
Celebrities and professionals prefer the iPod over Zune, and Zune may be in 2nd or 3rd place after the iPod's first, but they are a LONG way with iPods 86.7% market share, and Zune's 3.3%. My god, SanDisk sells more, and they made players after Microsuck..

The iPod Touch also has many more features and applications, is TOUCH SCREEN, and can browse the internet, and it comes along with a built in iTunes store. Zune can't do anything more than the iPod Touch that let other people listen to your songs 3 times, and vice versa, and play radio. You have to look at all aspects of each media player. Personally, I think the extra features and touch screen, along with size and appearance make the iPod Touch better, even with a smaller capacity.

I guess, but in my family I can't bring my laptops anywhere, and it isn't practical for me to sit in my lunch room with a Macbook, eating a sub, surfing the web. I guess that different things suit different people, and that others may see more/less value in products fit/unfit for them, like you, seeing the iPod Touch's Internet capabilities unnecessary, because you have a laptop. In fact, I don't know why people argue about this, everyone should just choose what they want, right?

What are you talking about? The zune has already recieved at least 4 updates, the last one adding gapless playback and auto-playlists. It started at version 2.0 and is now at firmware version 2.5 even with games. That's right. Zunes have games. Look it up.
