This trailer is awesome and this is my favorite one in the series too I know loads of people are like 'Oh the first Project Zero sucked and two was much better.' I don't agree in my opinion the best one is this one sure the dubbing wasn't brilliant but the atmosphere and the tension is just amazing. Project Zero 2 was actually my least favorite out of the first three on the PS2

I don't have a PS2 because I play only by PC since the 90s. But there are many games for PS2 that I can't play by PC. Fatal Frame is one of the games I want most. That's why I'm gonna buy a PS2 as soon as possible.

well, if you read about the making of the game, supposedly, the first fatal frame was made from actual events that happened in Japan.. and although 2 and 3 wasn't made from actual events, both games were made from places in japan, and several stories put together..

Mafuyu went to this mansion because he was searching Junsei Takamine, a well-known novelist who was doing a research for his new book, but he suddenly dissapeared with his team while they were in the mansion. That's it for the introduction to the plot of the game.

@SapoLeiteiro1 The first one is better in my opinion. It has more of a raw claustrophobic feel. I'm guessing you meant to say play 1 before you understand 2. To which the answer is no. But it's highly recommended you play 1 and 2 before 3. FF3 ties up all the plots from the first two heavily.

Writer Junsei Takamine and his two assistants want to investigate ancient Shinto Rituals that appeased malevolent spirits and kept them bound in hell. His research lead him to the abandoned Himuro Mansion, a location that the locals never speak of or acknowledge. Takamine and his team have been missing for two weeks.
Mafuyu Hinasaki, a former student of Takamine's, follows his mentor and also goes missing. His younger sister, Miku enters Himuro Mansion in search of him.

@misterxxx165 Yes definitely. Silent Hill wins the whole disturbing factor, but FF wins with the scare factor and I wouldn't even go as far to say atmosphere as well.
I got all three games in Mint sealed condition :) the price for all three games plus shipping is a rip off, but hey! for me its worth every penny if youre a game collector.

@OMG123uCanSeelalala If you can start with the first one then do that. It's the best. Failing that start with the second and then go back to the first. If you do plan to play all three then make sure you play the first and second before the third, because the third has characters from the first two and heavy spoilers about the other two games.

@HumbaoLove Maybe it's because the first one has more of a claustrophobic feel? The first one doesn't have the big open areas like the other two games. I personally also think the first one has a more raw feel to it in it's look, acting, and feel. Which only adds to the creepiness. Where as the second one is a lot more polished.
it might be old or the graphics might suck but this game is a classic and believe me if you play it once you wont say that it didnt scare the shit out of you

i was reading an article earlier and aparently, sales of games of this genre have been shit for the past couple years or so, and that's why they won't release it in the US.
but if they did their research, they'd know, that FF isn't like the other failing games like resident evil and silent hill. those games are mediocre at best and have controls that go against logic.
an FF4 for the ps3 would sell like crazy with advertising.

@AoixBaraxKa Yes, it is most likely region locked, but it did come out in both in the US and Japan. I'm not sure how to disable region locks on the PS2.

@OMG123uCanSeelalala If you can start with the first one then do that. It's the best. Failing that start with the second and then go back to the first. If you do plan to play all three then make sure you play the first and second before the third, because the third has characters from the first two and heavy spoilers about the other two games.

@HumbaoLove Maybe it's because the first one has more of a claustrophobic feel? The first one doesn't have the big open areas like the other two games. I personally also think the first one has a more raw feel to it in it's look, acting, and feel. Which only adds to the creepiness. Where as the second one is a lot more polished.
