In issue #91, Larry Hama wrapped up all his long running storylines (that were hinted at from issue 1 on, but really kicked into gear with #10). After a standalone story in #92 (with new series artist M.D. Bright), #93 began the 'Snake-Eyes Trilogy', with seemed like a desperate attempt to win back readers by tagging on retcons to long-time charaterse. With #100, Cobra Commander was magically resurrected from the grave, and G.I.JOE suddenly stooped to the level of a Marvel superhero comic.
